in 2009 i went to hampton, va for the big phish reunion show. i only caught the first show of the three show run because we had tickets to see morrissey in atlanta the next night. i flew from hampton to atlanta, where my wife and her friend had driven five hours and picked me up at the airport, and as soon as i got in the car i got a notification that morrissey cancelled his show. still haven't seen him live.

Nah fair, I definitely am aware of it and disagree with it (I'm pretty far left) and my Morrissey booking is more about having The Smiths and I'm gonna troll him with billing/schedule

I’ve dodged the Morrissey bullet I don’t know how many times. I was never really a Smiths fan and therefore never got into his solo work. I still feel for people who have to endure his shit though. Truly sorry you flew for that.
