Right, the Strat is the furthest north end of the Strip. North of that is the fairly recently rebranded Arts District and then north of that is downtown. But….for reference, Mandalay Bay, the furthest south casino on the strip, is 4 miles away from Circus Circus and Golden Nugget downtown is 5 miles away. Might not be a big deal if you’re looking for hotels solely based on price but just something to keep in mind.

yea i did life is beautiful for 3 years and stayed downtown so if i decide to go at least i know they have much cheaper rooms. might book something this week with a free cancel just in case. seeing some decent prices.

booked the motel 6 behind the MGM. free cancel and pay later at a reasonable price. my biggest hurdle i finding good flights from the east coast. last few times i went to vegas i had to fly overnight to get home

The first year it did with a handful of acts. It all got straightened out and they all stayed on. People were calling the festival fake because of those statements, yet here we are in year 3. This is booking agent shit and why somebody as high up as Mary J ending up in the dark is not a good look. Hopefully she fires them.

The travel packages go through a diff link. Or theyre supposed to because its not via front gate. Theyve normally put those on sale the second the line up has dropped in the past. Guess they just didnt want anyone getting a head start.
We really need stronger regulations on the advertisement of ticket prices. The fact that they were allowed to advertise tix "starting at $325" but 5 mins into sales all that's left are tix that are $500+ after fees is absurd.
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide
