Nasty arm injury for The U’s QB stretching out for that late 4th Quarter first down. Too bad the backup tried one too many back shoulder throws, but that’s the way it goes. North Alabama, Gators and the ACC championship stand in our way. Been since 2013 since we’ve won the championship. We got ‘93, ‘99 and ‘13. Time for another one is coming due. But I’m not sure we could beat UGA in a playoff game.
as an Astros fan I get Michigan fans side of things. no way it doesn't happen more often, and a lot of shit talkers will ignore any evidence that their teams were also involved in similar things.
Astros were sort of lucky that it happened off-season, and I get why other NCAA teams would be screaming for UM to get hit with the hammer because this is going on in season.
but homeboy got caught being dumb as rocks and super obvious and they should definitely be punished. we had to clean house and I was fine with that because that's just how the system should work, but realistically all those guys got new jobs with very little push back from those fan bases. harbough is going to get the Pete Carroll treatment and ride off into the sunset with a great NFL gig I'm hardly going to have any sympathy for him, but this suspension seems pretty toothless without a post season ban, and sort of feels like the big 10 is just trying to people please as many people as possible.

Is the Michigan "cheating" pretty much if you're a Michigan fan you're ok with it and think it's overblown, and if you're a fan of a different school you'll think they're terrible cheaters who should be punished? Like almost every sports "cheating" scandal.

In person scouting being banned in the first place is the most ridiculous part of this “scandal”, and I say that as a Michigan hater. Just let teams use electronic communication in lieu of physical signals instead of trying to enforce a dumb rule that’s really just going on the honor system.

10-2, 2nd/3rd in SEC West. i think 8-4 floor (losses to Bama, UGA, LSU, and A&M or MSU) and 10-2 is prob ceiling bc i don't like saying we can beat Bama like other delusional Ole Miss fans who still treat the game like it's a rivalry because we meet them twice 10 years ago but maybe a 1% chance of 11-1 with a loss to Georgia if Pete Golding has really beefed the defense up and Jaxson Dart takes similar strides to Matt Corral in 2nd year of the system

Big Ten was hoping Penn State or Ohio State would knock them out of the postseason on their own, but I'm sure the conference would happily take the playoff money they receive if they win out.
Several th time this year in the pros and NCAA where points might have mattered. Once again I can’t knock the 4th Down decisions to go for it in the red zone. TCU is up 3 with making those FG’s or tied if they went 1 for 2. Big play here for Texas. Edit and nice conversion.

As an Astros fan myself, I couldn't care less about Michigan cheating on an ethical level, I just think the particulars of the story are funny, and I hope they win the national championship because it would also be funny and cool and make a lot of annoying people mad. Them beating Ohio State with no Harbaugh because of the suspension would only make it funnier, so I guess overall I'm pro-suspension.

Having consumed an endless amount of Michigan social media and message boards the last few weeks, I think all but the most hardened Michigan fan will admit they deserved to get dinged here. It’s just a question of what’s fair. When the NCAA investigation is over Connor Stallions will definitely end up with a show cause and there are very reasonable questions about what the other coaches knew or should have known.
But we don’t know any of that right now. The Big Ten went way outside their own rule book to punish Michigan immediately and try please the other teams and I think the Michigan base is quite reasonably pissed about it. If Michigan folks have to admit they cheated and got caught, everyone else has to admit this isn’t actually serious enough to merit an unprecedented punishment

I also agree with Pablo that Michigan winning out without Harbaugh is the funniest/most annoying outcome (and if we lose without him we’ll whine so much you’ll wish we had). But if they don’t play better than they did yesterday I don’t see them getting by OSU.

If you have a soul you at least want Michigan to beat Ohio State. I wouldn’t mind seeing them win it all. Grew up with a Michigan transplant that pulled for them through all disappointments. Not much different than your typical UGA season before Smart.

If they win it and have it stripped I’m going to have the last laugh I know no one will believe me but I’d be very upset if I found out Clemson was doing what Michigan did. I don’t think I’d be defending them at all.
