Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
That's sick. Used to work with Transit Arts, which is a really cool non-profit that offers all kinds of arts workshops for kids, so it will be cool to see them perform the same day.
Mikey's Late Night Slice Dirty Frank’s Kona Ice Tortilla Mexican Street Food Zaki Grill
Nothing really exciting. I haven't been to one of Dirty Frank's food trucks in awhile, but I like the restaurant because they have veg/vegan options for the dogs and toppings. Mikey's is super popular, but in reality, is very average pizza and over-priced. Haven't been to Tortilla or Zaki. Definitely would suggest eating at a restaurant before coming in for a good meal.

Agreed. These are pretty boring options, and they're the same ones that always show up at any food-truck event in the city. Dirty Frank's (the restaurant) has a lot of interesting toppings/options but I'm not sure how that translates to their truck. Mikey's is extremely overrated/expensive for what it is and Tortilla is just a low-rent Chipotle clone. Zaki is fine, but again, nothing special.
Would definitely recommend getting food nearby first. North Market isn't far from the venue and is basically a big food court with a lot of great options. I'd also recommend Wario's Beef and Pork.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I've been recommended to stay in Short North for ReSet does that jive with ur all’s opinions?
Short North is the "trendy" part of town with lots of bars and restaurants. It's a brisk walk from the venue and it'll be very active after the show ends (unlike downtown proper which is a ghost town after 8pm). If that kind of stuff doesn't matter to you, you can probably get a better deal staying somewhere downtown. Same distance from the venue, but less late night activity.

I live in the Short North (5 min walk from the venue) and it’s definitely the spot if you want ease of access and several food/nightlife options. German Village is also great for that with more character and a little more relaxed.
And if you just need a single bedroom, I’ll actually be out of town that weekend if you want a place to stay for free.

very much appreciate the offer and that's very kind of you but its a group of 4 so we're getting a hotel

Oh man. I miss Dirty Franks. That’s one place I totally forgot to hit up when I was home…

Mojoflo of course put on a fun show at the arts festival tonight. I was surprised at the amount of people there. I forget the lead singer's name, but she did a costume change and came back out dressed as Tina Turner and did a few of her songs and danced like her. I wish I could see Dehd tomorrow night and resolve that Roo conflict but I have to go to my niece's graduation party. I would be surprised if Dehd drew nearly as much as Mojoflo, just seems like a strange booking.

ComFest tomorrow! Hoping it will chase away some of the post-Roo blues. If anyone on here that lives in Cbus is not going they need to check out and leave. It is one of the few things that makes life in Jim Jordan and JD Vance territory worth living.

Still feeling high off that LCD show from last night. Hit the Katalina's-Magnolia Thunderpussy double-date and spent way too much on vinyl. Took me back to a trip I made out here years ago and did both (for either Sufjan or AnCo, I can't remember?). Magnolia Thunderpussy is such a cool little record shop. Having blast on High St all weekend and just really enjoying Columbus all around. Figured I'd throw the shout-out in here.

Art Ensemble of Chicago is playing its second show post-pandemic (and first with Roscoe Mitchell) at Mershon on Saturday and tickets are only $18. Driving up from Cincy for this one.

RIP CD92.9/WWCD. Watching the last couple of hours on YouTube and it’s sad. They’ve done a lot of good for the community and it shows with all the people sharing comments on the stream.

Not sure exactly. Friends are into them and told me about them last summer but I didn't check them out. Then they told me about this show so I thought I should go see for myself. It has been a while since I've been to Woodlands too, pre Covid I think.

Enjoyed Bendigo last week, thought they were great. Felt a little out of place though as most everyone around me knew all the lyrics and was really into them. Next show is Shannon and the Clams at Ace of Cups next month, looking forward to that. May also get tix for Orville Peck in June. I was also happy to see that there is a 2 week gap between Bonnaroo and Comfest this year, will give me time to recover and means I may be able to convince my festival friends to finally make it to Comfest.

Couldn't agree more, as good as any E Street I've seen, and the Darkness-heavy stretch in the first half was just through the roof. Sorry to hear it though, Ambassador Of Fun!
