This is a thread for shaming songs that you personally hated from the first time you heard it. It can be a new/popular track or something you were recently reminded of. This is a safe space for haterz.
I’ll start: I can’t stand this song. A snippet of it went viral on tiktok before it was actually released, and yet somehow I feel like no else is sick of hearing it as much as I am. It’s just a lazy and uninspired song.

I think the song Kill Bill by SZA is objectively a really good song, but it makes me almost physically uncomfortable listening to it, putting images in my mind of an ex jamming out to it.
Upcoming Shows: 5/15 - They Might Be Giants @ Madison Theater 6/2 - Pigeons PPP/Andy Frasco/Dogs in a Pile @ MEGACORP Pavilion 6/5 - Pixies/Modest Mouse/Cat Power @ Andrew J. Brady Center 6/13-6/16 - Bonnaroo 7/25 - Foo Fighters/Pretenders @ Great American Ballpark 7/26 - Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: Remain In Light @ Bogart's 7/28 - Brett Goldstein @ Taft Theatre 8/4 - Phish @ Deer Creek Music Center 8/17 - The Jayhawks @ Memorial Hall

I thought the line “I might kill xfinitypass, not the best idea” was really personal imo and that’s not even my name, so I understand

I’m not gonna tech him how to dance with you by The Black Kids. Mainly because my daughter asks to listen to it every gd time we get in the cockadoodie car!!
Idk, I feel like I can completely avoid music I don't want to hear ever since I stopped working retail. I always have my headphones in going into stores listening to my own stuff so I don't ever really hear current pop music unless I choose to listen to it like Dawn FM or Renaissance, so I don't really hear new songs I don't want to hear
Last popular song that I severely couldn't stand was probably somebody you loved by Lewis Capaldi but that was like... four years ago at this point?

Oh my god how did she discover that song?! That's from like the 2000's!

I played it once over a year ago and it’s lived rent free ever since. She calls it “I’m biting my tongue” she’s 5
I am so glad football season is over because that jingle ripped a hole in my soul. Made it even worse when they cut from Damar Hamlin getting CPR directly to that commercial, it's seared into my mind
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Forest Hills 6/8 and maybe 6/9 - Governors Ball 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount

"Damar Hamlin, down and an ambulance has come out. Everyone is stunned, and praying everything is OK. We'll be back in a few minutes"
