I fully expected that pick. I think it’s fine. If you see Taylor as the #1 name on a country lineup, you know what’s going on. It’s like me taking Ween in the hard rock draft. She could deliver a set that makes perfect sense for the context of the draft.
I want this draft to be a celebration of country music and I opted not to make the rules super strict. If we’re allowing reunions, it makes sense that Taylor doing her country stuff should be allowed.
Argument for my pick: wiki rule and outkast is way more country than hickhopnot whatever u call Morgan Wallen Florida Georgia Line

As someone who doesn't know a lot about country, I'll be relying heavily on the "folk" genre later in the draft. So idk, I'm fine with abusing the wiki rule, because, at least on my end, I'm using this as an opportunity to learn more about country. Which I think should be one of the main points of these drafts!
