Pickle flavored anything is a big no. They're the one thing even grosser than cigarettes. I wouldn't even smoke weed out of a pickle. Now a fresh cucumber, that's a different story.

What about some homemade pickles, like at a fancy restaurant? Still with some crunch and not too vinegar-y. That was the gateway pickle for me.

Spectacular. Nothing like good house picking. Certainly higher end places will do it, but I’m happy when I’m at a BBQ restaurant or Mexican and they do their own. Onions, pickles, carrots, jalapeños , cucumbers - whatever. And I prefer pickled purple onions to raw. There is a really good pit master here that comes in and out of the bbq picture from time to time. He was expert - pickled blueberries and shit. Drool.

Ever use a half empty soda or beer can as an ashtray and then forget that used said can as an ashtray and take a sip from it? That's what cigarette flavored anything would taste like.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Properly pickled, no. I'll go to town on some fresh cucumbers in balsamic vinegar or dressing or something, but that's as pickley as I can go. And that's a rule.
Wow, somebody knows how superior pancakes are to waffles, and you hold that against her because she doesn't like to ruin perfectly fantastic cucumbers with too much vinegar? I do not understand this place sometimes. Pancakes > pickles, everyone knows this. I'd put a pancake on a burger before making the whole thing taste like a big nasty ex-cucumber.

Pro tip: ya gotta dent the can up a bit, so you know instantly when you pick it up that's not one to drink out of. Even this is not 100% effective, unfortunately. Or so I've heard.
There’s a thing where you can lightly pickle something to finish a dish or plate or whatever. You don’t have to store it in liquid vinegar to where it’s “wet” out of a jar. But since cucumbers are about 96% water, they’re already wet. But burpless cucumbers got popular in the second 1/2 of the 20th Century. I don’t even know what is in cucumbers to cause a belching reaction, but they were able to breed that out in several varieties.
Edit - it was believed to be linked to cucurbitacin which also being bred out got rid of much of the bitterness of a cucumber. I like them and pickles. It’s not one or the other. And there’s lots of other shit besides cucumbers worth pickling. I like mirlitons/chayotes pickled.

Anyone going to Coachella ?
No, not after what happened last time. The lawyers won't allow it, and the video footage doesn't lie. I kind of want to try my luck again but don't want to jeopardize the 8-figure settlement or be subjected to the paparazzi again. And no one is going anyway, and half the acts are cancelling at the last minute in protest of all the latest BS, as we all know.
Coachella is cancelled. Turns out Frank Ocean was disappointed because he wasn't invited to the VMA's
And of course there's the whole scandal relating to Frank Ocean not actually being an ocean, or even a minor sea, but the liberal media conveniently ignore that during festival season.
