Anyone know what a Sofia Kourtesis DJ set is like? I'm dying to see her play songs from her latest album, but not sure if she's going to include much of her original music.

She will definitely play some of her songs. She played a lot of house at the DJ set I saw earlier this year. Here’s a boiler room set.
made the unfortunate decision to cancel my trip to osl. with how bad covid has affected my body, it’s more wise to rest for the month after as i recover. if anyone is interested in 1 ticket for Confidence Man, Romy, or Sofia Kourtesis pls dm me. Selling them for face value minus fee
honestly so sad i had to sell, was really just looking forward to being in san francisco for the first time. hopefully will be back for portola in 2025. this covid shit is no joke though, take care of yourself and rest after infection.

Ah man, and you'd never been to SF? Bummer. Portola next year!

Just popping in to note that Grace Jones was worth the price of admission, absolutely incredible.
How was her crowd. And was it Empty Lands or that kinda got overhyped?
Hard for me to tell exactly how big; we were able to get quite close in front of the sound booth 30 mins before she started. What I could see at least filled in pretty well by the time she went on, seemed like mostly people waiting for Sabrina Carpenter.
Pretty much nobody knew who she was, including most of my friends; I spent Friday hyping it up a lot, was a bit anxious it wouldn't pay off given I'd never seen her before, but everyone in my group was blown away. And the crowd reaction got more enthusiastic as it went along.
There were a bunch of younger (like 20ish year olds) around us we chatted with beforehand. Could see them getting more into it as it went along and really enjoying it by the end. After, one of them said: "yeah, the first half, I didn't really get it, I didn't get what was going on. And then halfway through it was like 'oh, this is CAMP? and I loved it."
Hard to argue with a 76 year old woman coming out on a 50 foot platform, doing multiple costume changes, crying as she performed, smacking her crotch with a drumstick, hula hooping while singing for 6 minutes to close it out.

Definitely one of the best Outside Lands and festivals I've been to. This year had good vibes all around, only really felt too crowded on Sunday via Chappell Roan. Grace Jones was phenomenal, Slowdive closing out the Sutro on Sunday night was also magical. Really enjoyed seeing Jungle too, they've really leveled up their live show since I saw them last in 2019.
