Do you think you can pull it off with slightly salted vegan butter bc I want a taste. The Mayo/Egg isn't going to turn me, but this sounds like an actual fry. *edited*

Not 100% but isn’t German the one that uses vinegar and whole grain or brown mustard instead of mayonnaise and butter? I’m sure there are multiple ways people make it but that’s what I always thought. Deferring to Leo who knows best.
Provided I can find y'all and I'm not having to hold on to my canopies in a wind storm I'll be there with the hubs in tow. Not sure what I'm bringing, but it'll probably be chips and beer.

Esteban is right, no egg, no mayo, no butter in my German potato salad. Normally make it with bacon, but I'll do a vegan batch as well.

Dee’s Nuts shipment received through the back door. I started to buy a giant sack of nuts at Costco, but I’m going to wait until next week to grab those nuts. Still not sure if it will be pounds of cashews, macadamias, mixed nuts or what but some motherfuckers will be getting their protein courtesy of Dee’s or doze nuts. /try my nuts
I'll bite. Only if they're salty though. Not sure if you're cool with a dude you don't know grabbing your nuts but I'll give 'em a try.
Lmao. Apologies though. I tried but it was on the fly instead of well thought out. I felt like I should have had two or three more references. But Dee’s Nuts were actually pretty good last year. I haven’t tried the BBQ ones yet so I’m excited to try her bbq nuts.
This year at Brunch I will be raffling off a little Cincinnati goodie bag including a can of Skyline Chili and a few other small items.
Sounds too good to be true right?? Well it gets better.
To enter the raffle, send me proof of a $5 donation to a charity of your choice*. You'll get 1 entry for every $5 donated to a charity.
I'll randomly select a winner (deadline will be a week before Roo or something like that) and present the Cincinnati Goodie Bag to the winner at brunch. If you win but can't attend brunch we'll figure something out.
Good luck & good stuff!
*I will not be accepting donations to organizations like the NRA or religious orgs that do not have a history of excellent social service.
Examples of accepted donation recipients:
Any org that reputably supports a marginalized people group
Religious orgs/churches with a history of providing good social service
Personal funds/go-fund-me's for people in need
Any group that supports those in poverty like homeless shelters, soup kitchens, local libraries etc.
Any group that supports children/education
Obviously this is not an all inclusive list. Use your best judgement!

^^ I tried the Greater Ohio one, but the page had some type of coding that was blocked. So the next best option was to help them near Bonnaroo.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
for you & other peeps that have RSVPed but don't have anything by their name: -hummus & raw veg (carrots, cuke, celery) -maybe bread with some grilled chz and/or PB&J fixings -a bean salad would be awesome -- just like black beans or chickpeas with some veg cut up, vinaigrette mixed in or on the side -grapes, cherries, apple slices, other snackable fruits

Me, maybe +1 or 2? if I can convince them to come along that early. I'll bring paper plates and plastic cutlery if that seems helpful? If not, I'll bring my winning smile and loveable, rapscallion ways?
I'd love to bring food but space in my cooler is gonna be super tight and a 10 hour drive doesn't lend itself to food traveling well anyway.
Most likely a variety of beer. I’ll try to be extra productive and package up all the fixins for Chicago dogs, provided my camp doesn’t eat all of it immediately.
And also most likely bring my sister and her fiancé along, their first roo, gotta show em a good time
