it has been an extremely long time since ive had either in meat form but the vegan burgers ive had have all been way better than the veggie dogs/ smartlife hot dogs ive had
Hamburgers obviously, but man if you ever go to like a legit hot dog stand and get those dope sesame buns with saurkraut and horseradish and spicy mustard then it's closer than it seems.
I don't even eat red meat and hamburger wins. I do love a chili dog with mustard and relish though, but not more than a burger. Even a fake burger wins over a hot dog.
Edit: and by using that criteria in that link, they even claim an uncut sub SANDWICH is a taco. The whole argument for a hotdog being a taco is that the bun is connected at the bottom, but 50% of the time, the bun definitely comes apart so then it automatically becomes a sandwich.
Also, by those definitions, spaghetti would be toast. Like, please.

I’ve been thinking about cold hotdogs for the past hour and a half and right now I’m imagining Teddy inviting people over to their house and having a charcuterie board ready but it’s just a bunch of cut up hot dogs with mustard and ketchup and relish for dipping

So this thread has been educational, because I just learned that hotdogs are glizzies. I seriously thought that was just nonsense (not that we ever have that here), but for some reason I looked it up. Thanks, now the few people I know who don't already hate me are going to, because I feel compelled to catch up and overuse the hell out of glizzy, especially completely out of all reasonable context and when glizzies have not already been a topic of discussion.
