Agreed with those who say no reason to be embarrassed. But this one is in honor of #swiftadelphia this weekend, I can't wait for the show tonight.
how was the show
Great! But I definitely freaked out when All Too Well (10 min version) came on and the kids next to me were definitely making fun of me. She thought she was being stealth but she wasn't.

My brother and I grew up together, but he lived with my dad and his mom, while I lived with my mom. Dad got us into a lot of music, but GNFPWLBN is the first album I remember him really getting me into independently.
A song that reminds you of your sibling (or as close to a sibling as you have if you don’t have siblings)
when my sister used to drive me and my friend to soccer practice in grade school she was ALWAYS playing this song. i hated it so much because i only listened to metal and nine inch nails and cool dark things like that. but she just kept playing it and i just kept hearing it and after a while you can't help but surrender to the groove. i'll always love this song.

Q: What's a song that reminds you of your sister? A: Brick House.

I'm glad you included the context.
lol yeah i didn't want it to be brick house but i gotta be honest in this thread.
whenever i see the prompt the first song that pops in my head is the answer.

I love this story, because "Brick House" always reminds me of my aunt. I was with her when she was getting measured for her wedding dress. Her measurements were almost the measurements in the song because she had the 36 bust and hips and she kept singing "I'm a brick!!!! HOUSE!"
My brother now is very much an Umphreak and enthusiastic follower of the churches of Eric Krasno and Cory Wong, and now wouldn't be caught dead with his Slipknot and Murderdolls t-shirts, but he was once a teenager.

missed yesterday’s and I’m gonna post one song for each of my siblings:
this album hadn’t been out long when I went to visit my sister the first time since she moved out and I introduced her to Macklemore. this was all she wanted to listen to while I was there. idc this album still slaps
my brother is the complete opposite of my sister as far as music tastes and growing up he was the one who would introduce me to new artists and burn me CDs of stuff he liked. he sent me alt-j’s debut album in 2012 and it wasn’t until months later I started to hear alt-j songs on the radio. can always rely on him to be ahead of the curve
my parents make fun of me for liking LCD Soundsystem on the reg, my bar is INCREDIBLY low.
WTF do your parents listen to? Zappa?
my dad is a big metal and classic rock guy, my mom doesn't really care. Like I'm about to turn 26 and I legitimately could not tell you what her music taste is.
but no, lcd soundsystem is apparently a bridge too far?
My mom is far worse about making fun of my music taste than my dad.
