it was so so beautiful. At first I was bummed to have left Alex almost 15 min early just to still hardly fit into a spot at the very back of the TOP lawn (the smaller section up on the hill) but then steponsampras and I discovered we could stand up on that little $6 beer stand platform which had better sound than anywhere else at the back lawn — and a great view of the screens. The girls sounded truly phenomenal.
My highlights were definitely Alex G, Boygenius, and the party that was MUNA. I wish I could’ve gotten into the Lana set more than I did… I’ll post more of a full review later tonight that explains why it didn’t quite hit for me even though she sounded vocally flawless.
Tommy Lefroy & Samia & Ethel (had a fairly shit spot for her though, sadly, by way of arriving a little late to see half of Samia) were also amazing.
Such a good day of music! But yep they’ve definitely outgrown the venue if they plan on selling this many tickets moving forward :/

It’ll be tough to top this past year’s lineup, but I can't wait to see what they have in store for this year.
Charli and Kacey are rumored to be touring later this year. Maybe those are the headliners? I could see Bleachers and Troye being in the mix. VW, Orville, and Chappell Roan would be good crossovers from Hinterland. How about Rosalia?
