RHCP are playing at the Yaamava Hotel & Casino in San Bernadino in February
Their days of headlining Coachella are over
As this LA Times article reported, Yaamava is paying arena market rates for acts like Chili Peppers, Ed Sheeran and Mariah Carey to get noticed and build up market share.
That being said, I would be perfectly happy if they were done as a Coachella headliner.

Yaamava has been booking a ton of huge artists, new and old, to play. I don't think anything going on there indicates anything. Not your typical casino-booking-washed-up artists thing

The statements were mostly independent
They are booked to play an in region show in February so they are clearly out
They also almost certainly will never headline Coachella again

Tiiiiiight. Would be over the moon for this undercard.
However I think T Swift is definitely out. Would throw Dua on Friday, Tyler Saturday, and a huge outside the box name on Sunday. RTTD probably skrillex, maybe guetta or tiesto, perhaps even LCD Soundsystem or Kaskade

Massive Attack would be amazing, especially on the third line. They just seem to always start way late even on their own tour. Didn’t they refuse to come out at a festival a few years back?

They cancelled at Mad Cool in 2018 supposedly due to sound bleed from Franz Ferdinand.

They were on time for the Mezzanine xxi tour. I think you just might have to have them close Mojave so they wouldnt worry about sound bleed. Maybe one of those Outdoor slots where main is silent for 90% of the set because theyre setting up the headliner.
Basement Jaxx -> Massive Attack -> Justice -> Taylor Swift would be one of the most insane runs ever.
There's a few acts here I believe have already been ruled out. Mindchatter has a show at the Fonda on Feb 17th, Tkay Maidza has a show at the El Rey on March 8th, and Cobrah has a show at the Fonda March 1st.

Yup. I was there waiting over an hour just for the screens just to say they would not perform due to the sound bleed. I forgot if it was Frank but the sound bleed was very noticeable.
So Paramore is having a moment, announced no US tour dates yet for 2024 including no WWWY or Shaky Knees, is doing the March LatAm festival circuit before going over in May for the European circuit, and doesn’t fit cleanly into any other GV festival (Cruel, JLH, etc)?

They were definitely not on time in Detroit . They had no opener and played pop music slowed down for about 2 and a half hours while they walked across the stage endlessly until they came out. Looking at their start times for their entire tour it varied quite a bit from night to night.
