Tbh, the Outdoor is the stage that I have the least memories of. I've seen a handful of solid acts but nothing that WOWED me on that stage. Off the top of my head..
2016: A$AP Rocky (meh), Rhye (solid) 2017: Phantogram (enjoyed), Travis Scott (decent), ScHoolboy Q (good), Hans Zimmer (good) 2018: St. Vincent (Very good!), Miguel (Meh), Kali Uchis (meh, should have been in the Mojavr at sundet, not at 4pm) 2019: JPEG (bad stage placement), Billie Elish (late but good!), H.E.R. (very good), Uknown Mortal Orchestra (Very fun!), Blood Orange (Good, but placement felt off? Idk) 2022: King Gizz (should have been in a tent, not opposite a headliner). I'm forgetting a few names I saw this year tbh 2023: Hiatus Kaiyote (GOOD but should not have played in the sun. Their tour show was 100x better). Also forgetting who else I saw last year on this stage lol
Chems? Stromae? Holo? Boygenius? Fisher x Chris Lake? Sofi Tukker? Doninic Fike?
Here's a fun one! Which coachella or other fest set do you regret missing most? Your biggest oooof.
Mine was Amy Winehouse 2007 at Lolla. Wasn't feeling to great and wanted to rest up.
I regret missing 2011 and 2012. Picked the worst possible time to realize Coachella was taking up too much of my life and decide that I needed a break.

Didn't catch any of these. Pretty sure I walked past the Outdoor when boygenius was on. Think I was leaving the main after Rosalia ended (fantastic btw). I don't know why I didn't watch boygenius, looking back at the set times. There was no one else I wanted to see at that time slot. Must have taken a chill/food/bathroom break before BLACKPINK started.

Dominic Fike 23 was the best stage+set time pairing that I’ve experienced… Disclosure 22 was pretty good too

Fisher x Chris Lake was fun, but wowed?
Well just trying to put names out there. Chems always deliver the goods and its a bummer more people didnt see them or get to appreciate them. Watching the asl interpreter weekend 2 was fun.
Are we talking favorite outdoor sets? Let's see (from the last few years at least):
2023: The Chemical Brothers, easily. 2022: King Gizzard (especially W1 with "Rattlesnake"), Jamie xx (really surprised me, caught him again during the ReSET festival) 2019: Gesaffelstein (no question about this) 2018: The War on Drugs, Fleet Foxes and Alt-J, David Byrne (a dream come true moment for sure) 2017: Tycho (perfect setting), Hans Zimmer

What do the Chem Bros have to do with Fisher x Chris Lake?
I'll play. My favorite Outdoor sets? Off the top of my head: Hans Zimmer, Arcade Fire, Leonard Cohen, David Byrne, Jarvis Cocker, Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent, Atoms for Peace
I'm not even planning to go this year so IDK why I'm still drawn to these threads like one of those months you see walking out of the festival entranced by those giant portable spotlights.

Was looking up who could be that artist Resonate Suwanee is waiting to announced, gonna take some random guesses and say it's either Beats Antique or Blockhead.
