The argument really would be that it ends up being a unique show which then brings even more of a draw to it. All the swifties know the current setlist by heart so being thrown a curveball is likely to be welcome. And the youtube stream viewership would be insane.
Yeah that's what I mean. She has no reason at all to be performing her current tour set list, and we all know she has enough of a discography to not need to perform it. If she does Coachella it's 100% going to be a completely new experience to keep it relevant and keep the hype going

Okay I'll say it: it's time for a Coachella cum leak, even if its just a dribble. GV can only give us blue balls so many times before someone blows a load so messy that it scrambles the lineup placements.
I think folks are forgetting one key variable in the seemingly revitalized “would Talking Heads headline Coachella” debate — and that’s how PT (who is still the ultimate decision maker) still views this type of rare get as proportionate to financial revenue. Part of it is the ego of getting a reunited band back together, but there will undoubtedly be more coverage of this from prestigious institutions (think New Yorker profile) as well as months of potential press from the interview circuit (eg late night, NPR, etc). This is a long term bet on branding for Paul. Only Coachella can reunite these bands. Only Coachella has the cache. Only Coachella is special enough. And that is priceless to him. It’s the same reason Bezos would spend an ungodly amount on Tolkien’s estate or why Netflix continues to invest in one or two Oscar baity projects per year. They want that prestigious recognition.
As far as crowd size, put whoever RTTD is after Talking Heads. Byrne might not like it and veto it, but at least try to get a large crowd by getting some hopefully not annoying electronic act to gather some buffer so the field doesn’t look as empty.

I don't actually believe she will be doing Coachella this year. I was just answering to the people saying they won't book her only because she would need 3 hours to perform. IF she would perform, it would not be her current tour. It would be an independent set with a changed set list.

I just came here for the Dog Fort memes. I also heard they went for insane get that hasn't been talked about here much that would shock a lot of people (Not Daft Punk). I doubt they got it, but the fact there was a discussion is really exciting.
