If it's true they're going balls out for a headliner we wouldn't expect I'm assuming it's Talking Heads yeah?
Like what headliners left that would shock us other than maybe Kate Bush or The Smiths? Unless they're fighting for a crazy undercard get like Burial or BOC.

They can go as balls out as they want; unless the Heads want to play there's nothing they can do.
That said I went ahead and messaged Jerry's manager on reddit like a weirdo to ask if either Remain in Light or a reunion is coming lol

I still like the idea of booking Jerry and Adrian as Remain in Light along with David Byrne solo and scheduling them for the same stage and time just to see what happens. we can include Tom Tom club too to get Chris and Tina.

Any of Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, Portishead, Sonic Youth would make for a crazy undercard worth waiting for.

I can definitely see MBV coming back to the fields, out of the blue (I actually half expected them to be on the Cruel World lineup), but the others? Nah. Though I am hopeful that if Portishead does play again in the US, it'll be at Desert Daze.

They all definitely seem more likely for Primavera.

Lock them in a room together and don't let them come out until they agree to get along reunite
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide

Speaking of Radiohead, the newest season of Dissect breaks down In Rainbows and it’s quite good. The episode on Reckoner is probably my favorite pod last year.

I could see them getting Portishead, but given Beth Gibbons is solo at Primavera I would assume that's the closest Coachella might get.
