Madonna was amazing in Detroit last night. But she 100% won't be at Coachella. While she would have Fridays "open" on her schedule, that would mean a 3-show run and an overnight jaunt to Mexico. I don't see how her show would work on the polo fields, either.
Is No Doubt even that popular/important? I'm almost 40 and grew up during their heyday, and they were never anything more than okay.

No doubt has had this weird popularity boom at the high school level that I can’t wrap my brain around. I don’t know if it’s TikTok or if the school I teach has students that quote Gwen Stefani lyrics religiously.

It’s interesting to see how many throwback bands that are big today that people who grew up with them are blown away by. Like I’ll tell people a decade or two older than me how everyone my age loves Deftones, Radiohead, and Limp Bizkit again and they’ll be blown away. I even work with someone who’s in high school (!) and is obsessed with Radiohead (which makes it funny every time I see Radiohead classified as no longer headliner material). A lot of 90s and 00s band have really hit a resurgence which hopefully can bridge the gap between generations at Coachella more
