I'd love a second shot of seeing both Peggy Gou and PDM after the whole Yuma debacle of '22.
I'm curious, where'd the idea of Diddy subbing came from? Him alone doesn't seem like that great of a booking but a guest heavy slot of Bad Boy artists (kinda like Metro Boomin last year) could go viral W1 and have high expectations W2.
EDIT: Also that surprise JT set... I don't hate it. After getting meme'd during the NSYNC reunion, a surprise set might even generate more buzz for him then a headlining slot would, lol
Pharrell 2.0 for Diddy. And hologram Biggy in there.
I don't think Diddy would ever play solo lol Would be a super fun set but I don't think a Dua heavy crowd would be into it too much
I remember when Ariana brought out Diddy and Ma$e for Break Your Heart Right Back / Mo Money Mo Problems mash up and it seemed like no one knew who they were 😭 a few people around me legit asked me who was on stage with her lol
A Tyler crowd might be more familiar based on genre or even a Rage crowd by way of being more into music from the same time period

He was scheduled for Roots Picnic but dropped out the week of and usher replaced him.

Literally could’ve said the same about Björk and Frank yet that still happened. Could say the same about a lot of other subs so I don’t think that matters too much.
Was originally gonna stick A$AP Rocky there considering she’s a huge Rocky fan but decided to mix it up since I had him on the last two mocks. Pretty sure I read somewhere she’s a Biggie fan too so I would assume Puff might be included in that. But if she were to choose her sub (which isn’t really what I did for the other two headliners) I assume she’d pick a rapper since she’s really into hip-hop.
One of Skrillex, Kaskade, Garrix, Alesso, Rezzmau5
*complete guesses
I’m late to this, but Garrix would not be booked. Can’t even think of the last time he’s been on a lineup that isn’t Ultra or Tomorrowland type festivals. He’s pretty culturally irrelevant.
Just saw SZA. Brilliant show. She could headline Coachella easily.
After SOS success I don't think the question is "can" she headline but more "will she do Coachella?" I saw an interview just before the current tour started where she shared that she didn't really want to tour but was contractually obligated. That said, she's about to drop SOS Deluxe so maybe they have her down for one more leg of festival shows in 2024? Either way I get the feeling that she'll only do Coach if her management wants her to but if it's up to her she might just say "nah I'm good."
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide

Just because you can’t think of it doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. Was literally at an all genre festival Sep 2.
He’s just as relevant as Louis the Child, Madeon, Disclosure, Flume, Porter, Chris Lake + Fisher etc who have been booked in the last 2 years or any of the names I listed in my OP

I don’t really think SZA being billed one spot below Olivia Rodrigo at one radio promo show means much for her Coachella headlining prospects either way.
This AI and alien is multitasking today lol so just reminiscing - I need to revisit Ibiza! I am too old and out of place crap here (ew re: circle jerk on Garrix lol was there briefly for his free show /DJing at some space of the circuit right after the Montreal Grand Prix/F1 ended last June) that it was more than 12 years ago when I saw Usher or a few of my R&B and EDM musical guilty pleasures at Ibiza. Well, I did not specifically flew there for him or the below show (I am not a fan) but I remember someone gave me a free ticket for the below while I was somewhere there. Sonar 2024 and Primavera Barcelona 2024 are my backups if Coachella 2024 will be a disappointment for my IDM/indie music tastes again. So ready for the food and non-musical events at Coachella 2024 lmao
And then for other personal events that normal humans don’t care about. 2023 is an incredible year so far for me live music wise. Not sure if Coachella 2018 was my last one.
June at Montreal - The Cure July 2x at Wembley Stadium - Blur August here in Hawaii - The 1975 (not a fan but calling all my favorite British bands to stop by here before you head back home lol) September at Toronto - Interpol, The Smashing Pumpkins, Phoenix and Beck next week at Seattle - The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie
Hopefully at the last-minute that I will be able to make it at one of Jose Gonzalez shows this year though I had one bought and all booked already for his show in April next year at Vancouver. Coachella !? Come on! Then I already at least W1 passes and the one for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024. Sir Chloe, being one of the front acts at the Toronto gig, was probably my favorite instant musical discovery.

Wait, so are O-Rod and S-Carp no longer feuding? Has (celebrity) peace in our time been achieved? Or is this simply another reminder that LiveNation controls everything and cannot be refused?
OR: “I don’t have beef with anyone. I’m very chill. I keep to myself. I have my four friends and my mom, and that’s really the only people I talk to, ever. There’s nothing to say.”
You gotta hire TS and Sabrina’s PR team because they all know exactly what they are doing . Or maybe not because they all failed as OR did not fall for it. Who needs beefs & features if she can do it alone and easily beats some one on one races and others starting with topping those headlining Jingle Bell billings lol.

iHeart gives no fucks. They obviously want the drama.

In my defense, I am a 40-year-old Caucasian male who works in sports. Forgive me for assuming every nickname is shortening a first and last name and cramming them together.
