Lots of great shows here like GoT, Breaking Bad ect... but are people really gonna rewatch these shows? I'm drafting based on new content / rewatchabilty.
I’ve literally rewatched Breaking Bad like six times. I love it every time.
Sopranos rewatches always peter out in season 5 (which is not a commentary on the quality of season 5 or 6, it's just a hard show to watch at an aggressive pace)
We’re rewatching the Sopranos now, about midway through season 5. This is maybe the third rewatch since it originally aired. I feel like I have a different experience every time. The first time, it was fine, but we came out of it with no real interest in watching it again for a long time, and there was a long gap between that and the second time. The second time, we both enjoyed it much more than we expected to. This time is somewhere in the middle. It’s a good show, and it was groundbreaking for what it was, but it’s not amazing tv in comparison to a lot of what came after it.
Its interesting because replay value doesn’t mean much to me for TV like it does for music. I’d have to think about it a little bit to determine why. With that said, I do rewatch Breaking Bad, The Wire, and Thrones and I get a lot out of it.
“Your mission is to fill out a week of programming with the greatest shows of all time.”
probably "which TV station would you enjoy watching the most?"
Different ways of looking at it, but I'm thinking how do I make an enjoyable few hours of TV every night. For that to work I need a variety of programming. Some hour long dramas, sure, but also some easy to watch cool down shows, whether that be comedy or talk shows or fun competitions. Stuff that isn't necessarily highly emotional.
Ill get some of that low impact stuff eventually, but the height of TV in my life is what I decided to prioritize with the first two, especially since 2 of the best 4 shows of all time were shockingly available in both situations.

i'm surprised as well, i really thought all the big prestige shows would go first one after another. genuinely thought i'd pick up Late Night or SNL fairly easily.
i was starting to think MAYBE there was a chance i snag this, but i'm actually glad it didn't drop that far. happy i got at least one iconic single cam sitcom.
Alright you win. I get a lot of flack for it and it hasn't aged the best but entourage is one of my favorites. The wire is my favorite. Game of thrones was excellent until late. You're killing it.
idk u are watching highlights of sports instead of sports when both are on at the same time.
Most games are over by 10 Eastern and also none of yall have live sports so idk that that's even an option in this hypothetical. They show SC all day long so idk what difference it makes.

there are more big 4 sports teams outside the eastern time zone than there are in the eastern time zone >_>
