can’t see them headlining a rock fest that also uses up Noah Kahan as a headliner. They just aren’t big enough.
Boygenius were selling 10k tickets easily last summer everywhere they went and have gotten Grammy nods and only gotten bigger since then. They’re a perfect Shaky headliner. Last year was an outlier but they’re deff In that MMJ, Jack White, Phoenix, LCD , XX area who have headlined
Yah I can see this. Where it could suck is something like this…

I could see them maybe being a small 3 one year. But if the lineup is actually Noah Kahan - Boygenius - Queens of the Stone Age (or really any of those other potential names), people are going to be pissed. Need at least 2 headliners that are primarily rock music.
I literally can’t picture us not getting Noah Kahan and BoyGenius as two of our headliners. They are the two that I want the least of our possibilities. But I just feel it in my knees that we are getting both.

everyone but MMJ on that list hasn’t headlined in 6 years
I just realized Noah Kahan isn’t even headlining Innings. I’m really hoping this means Tim locked him up early enough for both fests that he’s in the Hozier spot for Shaky at best.
Also I thought Tim just defended that he put on a good show. Not that he would be a great headliner.

that Noah is headlining Osheaga makes that sub booking quite a coup for innings. I guess montreal is bound to have more fans nearby geographically but still
I’m gonna go ahead and fully expect Noah Kahan - BoyGenius - Queens of the Stone Age Just so if we do get any of the other possible acts that are available, I’ll actually be really excited.

Hey serious question. How much bigger are boygenius now compared to April? I was surprised by their smallish crowd at Coachella but would enjoy seeing them here. Maybe they're a four? I dunno.

phoebe opened for taylor swift and brought them out a couple times so that blew them up pretty good

I could see solo Phoebe headlining. Way more popular than Boygenius as a group.

I don’t see any reason why foo’s would play shaky again. They just played and then turned around and did bonnaroo, and with such an overlap of markets or whatever I don’t see why anyone would think they’d sell tickets. It doesn’t even seem like it would be worth it for the foos

I hear you but also assume if they announced a tour with a stop in both Nashville and Atlanta they would still sell out at both.
