For those into experimental/avant-garde, Phew is fantastic stuff. Can't believe I slept on her, as she has a lengthy career with ties to some of my favorite artists (like YMO and Can). Really eclectic stuff too, with her more recent stuff being droney analog electronics with looped percussion and soft vocals. I imagine having her and Wolf Eyes as back to back sets is the plan for Saturday. You also have Eartheater on that day too, so really strong undercard for experimental music.
Loving Nala Sinephro's album. Also one that makes a lot of sense in the Auditori. Ambient/jazz/atmospheric.
Stella Maris is sort of like Tenacious D meets Tim and Eric. Apparently there is a TV show in Spain called La Mesías about a christian pop girl group who makes music videos in their bedrooms. I haven't seen the show yet but I can speak Spanish so I am going to check it out. The music, in real life, is composed by Hidrogenesse, a Catalan pop band with a lot of eclectic influences. Looks like they are opening for Phoenix, so I am expecting some fun theatrics at this one.

hidrogenesse is hilarious. they opened for the magentic fields’ ciutat show in 2022
British Murder Boys are playing Parameter 2024 in San Francisco. This is a duo between Surgeon and Regis (who is in sandwell district). Wonder if this could be a late addition. Some other interesting names on there as well: ra.co/events/1846492

Hey shuck, Abstract Concrete is Charles Hayward of This Heat / This Is Not This Heat’s new band if you wanna make me jealous. Also, JBL with The Messthetics is crazy good.
Messthetics Are 1/2 of Fugazi (not named Ian or Guy) and a guitar virtuoso doing weird. James Brandon Lewis is just incredible.

I would love to go to this, but unfortunately I'm still likely going to be in Paris on Monday so I don't think I'm going to make it. However I will vouch to everyone else that This Is Not This Heat were very good when I saw them and you should try to make it out for this.
