For those who have attended in the past, how difficult is it to get out of the festival at 5-6am? I am going to have a flight back home around 11am on Sunday. So My idea was to leave the fest, get my things at the hotel, and go right to the airport.

you’re going to be extremely exhausted, but you’ll have no problem getting there in time
Going to give a few other names that have the "You can't see this in America!" factor. I'll start off with one favorite I had before the lineup drop: last year a lot of my favorite indie music came from Brazil including Sophia Chablau e Uma Enorme Perda de Tempo; unlike a lot of other Brazilian indie bands though they tend to incorporate a lot more old-school Brazilian pop influences in their music (though there's certainly plenty of variety).
Primavera and their label list them as pop punk but I think Aiko el grupo are just fast and fun and remind a lot more of surf music more than anything:
julia amor has a kind of synthier new wave sound that has sort of the gloss of a Johnny Jewel project but closer to post-punk in the vocals. Pretty interesting!
Ángeles, Victor, Gloria & Javier operate in a similar contemporary flamenco space to El Mal Querer-era Rosalía but with much more of the space a live band sound has to offer. To be honest I'd heard a few songs from a Primavera playlist and liked it fine enough but only when catching this live video while writing this post did I think "oh damn this is really really good".
Thought there'd surely be live videos of Nazar, who does techno that's not too far off from the loudness and unique rhythms of the artists on Nyege Nyege. But this Boiler Room is pretty good:
And not to garagelandpost too much or anything but Weigedood is fun if you're a black metal fan and/or like crazy ass music videos:
also seconding tristan on Charlemagne Palestine; I'm not a huge minimalism buff or anything but I listened to Strumming Music last weekend and like it a lot and became enamored when I learned the man plays live surrounded by stuffed animals while drinking cognac.

Was listening to that Angeles, Victor, Gloria y Javier album earlier and was really impressed with it. Like Rosalía meets Portishead. Would complement Beth Gibbons in the Auditori really well if they go that route.
Woke up today excited to get tickets for Beth Gibbons' Paris show and it appears to have completely sold out in the 2 hours between its onsale time. 🙂👍
Anyone been to Los Caracoles before? Someone I work with recommended it but Yelp reviews seem fairly mixed about it.
Mrs. Fitterhappier and I went last year and enjoyed it. Very old school vibe. We really enjoyed the paella and oxtail. The wait staff was great, and I remember being comforted by being able to make reservations without any hassle. Built it around an evening walking the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla. It was recommended to me by a cousin that goes to Barcelona a lot.
FKA Twigs cancelled her performance at AXE Ceremonia. Looking likely she will drop this year, again.
Would suck to have her cancel two years in a row, but after the rumor she scrapped her album after some leaks it wouldn’t be a shock if she isn’t ready. Looks like her cancellation was announced late March last year. Curious who would be a suitable replacement.

Losing my #1 two years in a row would be absolutely brutal, but at least we got New Order last year. Hoping for a similar quality replacement/addition. This just ruined my fucking day
