It's also interesting that someone could very easily go that entire Saturday without seeing a male vocalist. Full top-8 and most of the great undercard stuff on that day are woman-fronted or solo female acts.
the running of the bulls is actually gonna be the run of mitski-pj-twigs-sza-charli

Trying to squeeze Slow Pulp, Bikini Kill, Amaarae, Romy, Lankum, and Eartheater in there too. Saturday is going to be fucking wild.
On a different note, also really interested in seeing Model/Actriz, Shabaka, and Mandy Indiana. Saturday's schedule is going to be a bloodbath.
Justice, Arab Strap, Beth Gibbons, William Basinski Disintegration Loops, Pulp
Clipse, Arca, Chelsea Wolfe, Charlemagne Palestine, Troye Sivan
FKA twigs, Mandy Indiana, PJ Harvey, Sophia Chablau e Uma Enorme Perda de Tempo, Charli XCX
Kind of funny- I have very few true “must sees” on Friday and like ten on Thursday. It was hard for me to think of a top 5 for Friday, but not really in a bad way - there’s a lot I’d like to see but don’t have an immediate need to.

I have a deep list of nearly 20 acts for Saturday but Thursday is my most top-heavy. A Justice/Gibbons conflict would really hurt my feelings.

Alright, what day of the week are we getting this thing next week? I'm about to head into the shadiest dentist office I've ever been to and need something to look forward to.

After months of stressing over which local bands to try and catch in Paris, I think I’ve found the perfect one the day I arrive: this L’Impératrice knockoff doing a $5 show:
Not a surprise to anyone but this article confirms Basinski is playing the Auditori:
(Also a little funny how many of these blurbs are something to the effect of “This artist will give you a chance to pause and reflect at the festival.” Like ok if I wanted to go to a yoga retreat I would’ve just done that instead.)

Who are the gems to check out? I only know BB Trickz, Armand Hammer, Evian Christ, Demdike Stare, Snow Strippers, Arca, Erika De Casier, They Hate Change off the top of my head.

Sweet af but holy shit good luck on getting in there. Earlier in the day was easy enough but by midnight or so those lines were pushing into the Plentitude stage crowd.
