Theo told me they said no Spain shows in their reddit AMA, so even though they have the one date open they're probably out.
Would have loved a Silver Cord set in Auditori.
yup, and I just don’t think it makes any sense to squeeze Barcelona in there between Brighton and Paris. I’m sure they’ll be back soon enough but I think the fest is making an effort not to bring back too many 2022 names if it’s possible

Alanis Morissette is out because she’ll be busy getting ready to go on tour here in North America in the summer of 2024 and she can play at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain in another year.
The festival updated their social media pics today too and posted this, seems like something's coming soon and that there might be some 30th anniversary (I suppose) related stuff going on:

Also the twitter header has the dates “May 29 - June 2” for Parc Del Forum, can safely assume there will be an intro day this year and the Brunch on the Sunday again

A large contingent over on eFests seems to have convinced themselves that (a) Tool is a headliner, (b) Tool is a big enough headliner that they’re going to be announced in advance of the lineup like Depeche Mode was last year.

This seems like the exact inverse of the people on eFests who argue with supre over Bad Bunny’s headliner status at English festivals.

Peso Pluma placement on that one is super off. Same row and size as Kvelertak, the band that sells lets say 500 tickets in Barcelona on a headline night. But cool line up for sure.
