Who is the Lolla crossover if any?
SZA and Tyler probably played too recently. Hozier and Melanie Martinez are already playing Austin. This fest isn't booking a K-Pop headliner
Leaves Blink-182, The Killers, Future x Metro Boomin, and Skrillex as headliner crossover options, although Skrillex is billed 9th at Coachella and could technically be similarly billed here.

I feel like Justice might in as part of a larger US tour. They just announced Boston, DC, Philly, and New York shows. Probably will want to hit up the midwest and west coast in the fall
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol

Not sure if the San Antonio date leaves Blink out for ACL as well. I could easily see The Killers since they’ve played multiple times, same with Skrillex. I’d fuck with Metro x Future though.

Missed they had a San Antonio date, it doesn't count them completely out because Shania Twain did a SA date last year and still played (albeit only one weekend), but it makes them highly unlikely. Also their touring has been pretty exhaustive so I kind of doubt they add another leg just for ACL
The Killers haven't played since 2017, that feels pretty likely.

I'd be willing to bet we get Blink, they seem everywhere and with how much of that realm of music seem to be likely to play they seem to be in. Killers maybe, I don't see Future happening when we still haven't gotten Post or J. Cole. I hope Skrillex plays but I'd NEED him to play at night/in the dark.
Also to be fair; Tyler played ACL and Lolla in 2021 and came back for Lolla 2024 so it's def on the table.

Not sure how known they are here in Texas, but with Pulp touring the US for the first time in 12 years (last show Coachella 2012), any chance of them headlining or being on the lineup?
Luke Combs is doing back to backs in San Antonio in May, not sure if that makes him less or more likely.
Zach Bryan also doing B2B dates in July. TBH I know the common idea was that San Antonio dates made headliners out or unlikely but after Shania Twain played last year after having approximately 3 million other Texas dates that year alone I looked a bit into it and it seems more to me that artists in general just don't play San Antonio often. Also don't know how much it really matters when it's someone like Combs or Bryan who sell like hot cakes lol.

Honestly it’s a reach cause for their generation they weren’t even the biggest band of their time and much less in the United States so it’s hard to think they’d be at ACL but would definitely see them touring and stopping in Austin for their own show

MMJ + Nathaniel Rateliff tour skips Texas and ends 9/28. I could see either one playing, both very ACL friendly bands. MMJ has played a few times before, looks like Rateliff hasn't as far as I can tell, though he's done the TV show
Would be praying for an MMJ Stubbs aftershow if they played

I feel like MMJ has looks plausible for a few years now, wouldn't surprise me if they were a high-end sub
Rateliff played in 2022...I think he is the kind of act that could be brought back so soon but I'm not holding my breathe.

Whoops, completely missed/forgot Rateliff played in 2022
With MMJ on some other fests this year and so far skipping Texas, I like their chances and they'd make a lot of sense. They are the sort of band I like seeing very long sets from though, so I'd very much hope for an aftershow and/or surrounding Texas dates

MMJ as a weekend 1 exclusive and The National in that slot as a weekend 2 exclusive actually makes a lot of sense as well by the way they've booked things in the past, even though it'd be a bit of a bummer with the crossover appeal
