I’ve only had Qdoba a couple of times, and it was fine. I feel certain that I did like it better than Chipotle because there wasn’t cilantro in the rice.
At Moe’s, I can get a veggie burrito (and I don’t even have to call it an Art Vandalay anymore) with rice, pinto beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and black olives, and it’s going to be consistent and tasty every time. At Chipotle, the rice has cilantro in it, they don’t have plain tomatoes and the tomato salsa has cilantro in it, and they don’t have black olives, which makes my go-to veggie burrito very disappointing, so I try to do something different with it, and it never turns out to be what I want.
Qdoba is better than Chipotle and Moe's. Portions are bigger and their nachos kick ass. I'm bummed that the franchisee that managed them here got sold and then closed all of their WNY locations. (I don't know what the business model is that makes that a good idea.)
I haven’t actually even seen a Qdoba since we lived in Carson City, and that was over ten years ago.

I remember when Qdoba finally came to my college town and my friend from Colorado was very excited about it. The location lasted about 6 months and I don't think I've seen one since.

One time in high school I did mushrooms with a couple guys and we went to a McAlister's Deli and I immediately was like "this isn't it, I need to leave" and I haven't been to one since. Newk's is good, though.
The difference is not one of geography; it’s more that Esteban is a true bon vivant and I almost never eat out lol.
Come hang out for a couple days any time. I actually know what a Bon Vivant is since I’m birthed in New Orleans. I ain’t one of them, but I do like to eat. Ima see in February when I go back for bloodwork and see if dumping milk and most meat except chicken and seafood (most of the time) paid off. If so, great. I’ll break the rules for a couple days. It not, I lose the bet with the doctor and get put on anti-cholesterol/anti-fat drugs meaning I can eat anything as long as I take whatever prescriptions they give you for that.
Also fuck OS17.1.2 or whatever for fucking up the way I type.

Lmao. There’s a picture of me on the forum at Voodoo whatever year (edit was 2016) when we dressed up as old people. The young lady standing next to me in that photo was a cashier there. Anthony Davis lived about 5 blocks from that McAlisters and tried to hit on her. He asked could he get her phone number. She said no having no idea who he was. But they knew he didn’t tip on his pickup orders. Haha. Goddess shit but if she knew better she’d have at least worked AD’s ass for some jewelry.
Also know the feeling. The one time I smoked mint leaf (aka click juice aka embalming fluid aka formaldehyde) as a teenager I got a paranoid reaction and knew I had to leave where we were.
Qdoba closed at some point in recent years, but my town used to have all three- Qdoba, Moe's, and Chipotle. I don't think I ever even stepped foot in the Qdoba though. I am generally Moe's > Chipotle, but probably have Chipotle more based on availability in when traveling and in more airports, etc.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I prefer Qdoba to Chipotle and Moe’s, but I haven’t had any of them in years. I prefer to support my small local burrito joints who aren’t involved in MAJOR DIARRHEA SCANDALS.
End it now. Let's get rid of both these dumb stupid places
Yes both of which ive never heard of or eaten at.
We have a Nuke's in Pensacola, but I never went there. Only times I have been to Atlanta Bread was during the couple of months I lived in Mobile County after Hurricane Katrina. There was one by the I-65/Dauphin Street exit, and it was decent enough for ham sandwiches, soup and shit like that - kind of like Pantera Bread but much better than Sub Way. Maybe they still have a menu on line? Yeah they do. Again, it's not great or anything but they have some okay breads and sandwiches like the California Avocado which contains provolone, dill sauce, tomato and onion on focaccia bread. atlantabread.com/menu/
I wouldn't rule out eating at either of these places, but I was the one who tied it up to get rid of them here.

My issue with Panera bread is the portions are so freaking small.
Yeah. They have one by my house and I’ve never been in the 11 years I lived there. I’ve had it once or twice elsewhere, and it’s better than fast food but also forgettable.
