I once watched a little girl drink ranch from the ladle of the salad bar at Pizza Hut. And I saw a guy pick his nose and then dig around in the pumpkin seeds on the salad bar at a Whole Foods.

Sorry! At least you just had to hear about it and not see it. I had eaten from both of those salad bars. I actually love a salad bar, and I would just live in denial about the grossness, but I haven’t been around one since before covid.
How is Boston Market hardly catching any heat here?
I understand that Boston Market has likely gone downhill in recent years, but it used to be very good. I had a bunch of dental work done in the early 2000s, so I subsisted on their sides (creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, etc.) for several days, and it was pretty great. Also some good painkillers.
Yeah, I haven’t seen a Boston Market since 2009 or so, but we used to eat there from time to time then and always had decent experiences.

I understand that Boston Market has likely gone downhill in recent years, but it used to be very good. I had a bunch of dental work done in the early 2000s, so I subsisted on their sides (creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, etc.) for several days, and it was pretty great. Also some good painkillers.
got it. curious if anyone has been on strong painkillers and eaten a quiznos chicken carbonara sub? hot from the oven and absolutely coated in thick creamy white carbonara sauce, served fresh from an institutional sized can of carbonara sauce. the sandwich is so big and hot and fatty and covered in meaty creams.

The answer is yes. There's not a sub on the menu that I haven't eaten on painkillers
