Who would win in a fistfight at the Ferris wheel.... The Killers vs. Muse.
The Killers. As far as I know and have seen, Muse tours as a 3-piece whereas The Killers, who I think have 4 permanent members, usually have about 5 or 6 up on stage. Plus they are 'Muricans.
Since I missed Mike Kinsella playing Never Meant at the emo superjam I think I'm owed an American Football set on Sunday in the Pixies/Taking Back Sunday slot
is Tobe big enough to be 3rd on his day? My favorite Roo show I've seen yet, I thought he was gonna explode in popularity since but I haven't seen him on many lineups as of late.

They leaned into the TikTok / Tumblr soft pop rock (idk what to call it) a lot this year with Cigs, TV Girl, Melanie taking up some prime real estate. I’d be surprised if they didn’t book the Neighbourhood like #4 on their day.
Remember when Bonnaroo booked DJs people had heard of at the Silent Disco? That'd be cool if they did that again.
agree, but to drop a rare "to be fair to bonnaroo" statement, i think the known names shifted from Silent Disco to WITW, and i think the WITW artists booked the past couple years have been bigger names than what we used to get in the Silent Disco.

Oh yeah I get it but I guess just something better than music you'd hear at a bar would be cool to have there. Like when Flamingosis was going to play in 2021, give me something like that.
I know they were on that survey but do we really think Bonnaroo would book Slipknot. I mean I’d like nothing more than that to be true as they’ve been one of my most wanted late night which shows for years but still.
I could see it happening, but they are already announced for a fest in Europe the same weekend as Roo, so I doubt it happens next year.

I think the most heavy rock/metal headliner Bonnaroo would book is probably Metallica, Tool and maybe Iron Maiden since they seem to be done touring soon. Besides those 3, not sure if anything else works at Bonnaroo. Amd we had 2 of those before.
Tool and Metallica were our only "heavy rock/metal" headliners right?

Agreed, but Slipknot wouldn't be a headliner at Roo. The only other metal name I think would be a headliner is System of a Down.
zero chance Kacey, Sabrina or Rufus arent headlining if they play
They could headline, doesn't mean they would. People thought the same thing about Paramore in 23, The Chicks in 22 and probably many others. I could see all 3, both as a headliner and a sub.
I think the "smallest" headliners Bonnaroo booked in recent years are Fred Again in 24, Odesza in 23, LCD in 16. Both Fred Again and Odesza make sense to me because their popularity in the year they played, LCD was definitely a riskier booking as a headliner as it's the only one of those 3 I could see booked as a sub. Don't think they were that popular in 2016. Not saying bad, just less popular.
All other years in the last 10 editions, they did pretty well to actually book headliners in my opinion. Not including the canceled editions.
Kacey hasn’t had a great album since Golden Hour IMO. Anybody know how her tour has sold this year?
Does it matter that much about the albums? Barring any major conflict wouldn’t you be there anyway too? Seems kind of a must?
not super high on my list, she wouldn’t have made my top 10 most anticipated for any of the past 3 roo’s (not checking any of the lineups to confirm this claim it just feels right)

Rufus wouldn't headline, in my opinion.
Sabrina needs one more album to headline.
Kacey could definitely headline, but I see her more closing the Which (945-11) before Tame/ headliner or Pre-headline What , like The Chicks in 2020.
Rufus has already headlined a major north american festival and they are not likely to take anything lower than that at this point. Sabrina has completely sold out her arena tour already and resale is almost as insane as the Olivia Rodrigo tour. i just think youre setting yourself up for disappointment if you dont think either of them could headline

Remember when Chance the Rapper had that Coloring Book listening Party at The Silent Disco?
Forgot what year that was.
2016, ran to the silent disco as soon as word got out, people working the silent disco had no clue and let us in without headphones, they finally get word and cut off the line but everyone that had got in there early had to clear out because “they weren’t sure if they’d have enough headphones for everyone” (which they 1000% would’ve) so even though we were one of the first there, we had to get out and get in the line that was already wrapped around the silent disco for a chance to get back in.
