For what’s worth: I Asked Jeff Tweedy if they were playing Bonnaroo. He looked me straight in the eye and said “No we’re not, unfortunately.” Wilco was announced on the lineup drop literally 2 weeks later.
In conclusion, musicians are fucking liars and they have no reason to risk an NDA for some nerd.
Reminder Brad said “You all seem very excited about the possibility of Justice and Gizz.” Why would he even say that if they weren’t on the lineup? Would be super lame.
I once wandered into one of those yellow school buses and saw Spiritualized do an Acoustic Mainline set.
Green Day at a 500 capacity venue in Roanoke, VA. It was right after Kerplunk and they needed a date between Chapel Hill and DC. While it was a small capacity, it wasn’t even 1/3 full.

This.
Also circling back to the Roobus(?) podcast, having to pay an act more cause they're in Europe probably leads to 3 things
1. Gizz (which has a rumor) 2. LCD Soundsystem (which would be purely vibes) 3. Another act late in the game we don't know about, or someone that'll be in Europe and we don't know yet (Benson Boone/RtJ/Glass Animals/etc)
My hopes aren't high but I haven't given up hope yet.

Did you happen to ask him that at the Chipotle on West Clifton Ave.?

if we go 0/2 on Gizz and Justice I’m skipping roo out of principle for how egregious that’d be
I saw her at Roo back in 2017. She played in one of the tents. It was during the day. I thought 'Dua Lipa' was the band name: Gee, that girl that fronts Dua Lipa is badass...
Yeah, I haven't heard otherwise from the source that gave it to me, they've been spot on. They've been good in the past about somebody dropping out (Gambino) and letting me know - we actually got a bit more information on that from another good source so we're very confident about him being booked and then dropping out - so I imagine if something changed they would let me know.
Maybe the tour they're talking about is specific to the symphony tour, like last year they had a residency tour and there was a Boston Calling date at the start of it. Residency tour was announced in November with Boston Calling date announced in January. That was the only individual date in the US that leg.

This year I shot in the dark messaged Dan Spencer and he said “man wouldn’t that be something” and then a few weeks later landed on the who stage. I’d rather be left guessing than being flat out told no. Geez.
