I'm just wondering why they are sharing the info? Maybe Roo finally threw their hands up after all the uproar about the EDM this year and are outsourcing/ crowdsourcing who to get.
They shared a similar graphic last year for who the general public wanted for headliners. It's just data, not all names will be booked.

I understand that and appreciate the data, just don't understand what's to gain from putting it out there like that. Engagement I guess.

I read it as poll data from Festive Owl, based on one of his Twitter surveys, not official Bonnaroo survey data.
Sat. Rufus Du Sol Foster The People * My Morning Jacket
Sun. Olivia Rodrigo Charli XCX * Vampire Weekend
This feels like the bar we should mentally have set.
That being said, this would be ok with me if this is what it ends up being. With a nice undercard of course.
I'd be very surprised if our lineup looks almost the same as Estereo Picnic. In previous years Bonnaroo hasn't shared a single booking in the top 10 of both festivals.

I guess it can be both. Take this with a grain of salt, but they say in the comments that Fred Again.. was booked last year because of the results of that graph.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
honestly we shouldn't be focusing on bonnaroo 2025's impending cancellation, we should spend the time we have reflecting on the good bonnaroo memories.

In 2007, when Trojan was a sponsor so the crowd blew up dozens of condom balloons for The Police show.

Rolling up a few joints for your wife and getting pit for Tool are pretty good memories.

Croo and I dancing our asses off after Thundercat until closing time at the silent disco. Just unexpectedly a ton of fun even though I’d been to the silent disco before
Celebrating my 18th with that M83 (pit) > LCD > Tame (pit) > Zeds Dead run.
Gambino 2019
GRiZ’s Golden hour set during a beautiful golden hour, then Odesza headlining later that evening after being a fan since the first album was awesome to see.
BN 2018 with the whole crew
Damn near all of 2022 but that windstorm Thursday or Friday morning was honestly pretty fun, just got hammered with the neighbors after.
Saturday of 2015
There’s so many more but off the top of my head and on the clock this is all I got.

Lady Gaga - The Strokes - Jimmy Cliff Chromeo - The Black Keys
Green Day - Phoenix - Spoon Cut Copy - Empire of the Sun
Soundgarden - Arcade Fire - The National MGMT - Cypress Hill
X-Japan were the real headliners that year
They were awesome! That's the year I had a couple of drinks with Jamie Lidell and later got my shirt signed by Chris Cornell. Probably one of my better festival experiences. Gaga wasn't that good, little too many costume changes which resulted in many set breaks.
