An anxious part of me does wonder if Ed Sheeran is in play. Always thought he wasn’t one to do the US festival scene until he randomly popped up at Boston Calling this year
I would fucking love Ed to play. Dude has banger after banger

to each their own! I don’t mind skipping a headliner to get a solid spot for a late night set haha

Just saw Pendulum announce a live performance set at Ultra for 2025. For me that would be an ideal Thu What set but don't see it happening. Unless they do it the same as Ultra and have a b2b with Deadmau5.
Seems like theres not a ton of high-energy pop headliner options. I'd be okay with Lana too, but I definitely prefer someone like Miley/Dua with a catalog of high energy dance tracks rather than slower ballads and love songs. The Weeknd is releasing new music so he might be an option in 2025
Katy Perry might be an option too this summer.
I think katy is on her way out, I don't know if they would really book her. At least, I personally hope not.
Is Phish more likely than Dead & Company? I feel like we haven't seen the last of Dead.
If Dead and Company keep going, I highly doubt it'll be with Mayer. Sounds like he's been ready to move on for awhile. Curious who they'd bring in if they feel like continuing.
so if Tame is out, thats a pretty big hole for electronic rock to fill. Would they try to find another similar electronic/rock band to headline like Muse? Or do they just pivot to more pop/punk like Blink or Killers?

I think Damon and Jamie are working on a new Gorillaz album.

oh thats very cool, I hadn't heard they were making new music. I sorta expected them disappear for years again after Cracker Island. I'd love to see them on the farm.
