One of the big questions for me is who ends up playing the Thursday PL slot from last year, because I know they intend on doing that again.
Justice, Skrillex, RDS, all seem to make sense as potential candidates, but who among those three or others would sell the most tickets? They'd literally be the top name on the poster.

Rufus, Illenium, Excision could move tix. PL was nice cause they can appeal to a slightly broader demo, but I think Rufus can too

Skrillex or Rufus but Rufus just makes more sense for that slot, Skrillex seems best for a Friday or Saturday night party, same for Justice.

I think maybe it could be a slot for an artist, not even just EDM, that either has a history with the festival (Widespread Panic, Phish, other jam bands) or someone who may not draw a friday saturday sunday headliner crowd but bonnaroo still wants to book, LCD Soundystem could be an example. Another idea could be if they booked KGLW, let them do a 3 hour marathon set (saying this just cause I'm a huge fan... but would be dope!) But if we're talking EDM, Skrillex would be fun, especially if he wants to do an extended set, which probably wouldn't be possible if he was booked for Fri or Sat

I think that artists like Skrillex or Justice are too big mainstream pulls for the PL Thursday spot. PL brings a big crowd of dedicated fans, but isn’t mainstream. I know Spotify streams aren’t everything but PL at 550k, justice 5.3 mill, Skrillex 19.5 mill. I think it’s gonna be Tipper or Griz, honestly. They fit that “dedicated fan base but not super mainstream” vibe. And tipper is supposedly retiring next year, along with being on one of the canceled lineups. Just seems right to me.

I guess what im saying is that if they were going to get skrillex or justice, they would probably headline as the edm headliner akin to Odesza or Fred again

I think Charli is another act that would be great for a thursday night headliner, she's gotten a lot bigger but I can't see her headlining fri-sun.
If bino is out for 2025, then maybe we get him on the farm in 2026? It looks like Tyler might still show up for ACL since I think he is performing tonight and hasn't cancelled yet...so maybe he is a possibility for 2025 Roo.
