Has anyone ever done VIP at Hopscotch ? Is it worth it ? After seeing BBNG at Roo they def are headliner worthy for Friday. Going to do some more digging on the lineup but Hulaween lineup wasn’t my fav so this def is looking a lot more possible.

I have and am doing again this year. If you’re going for just the plaza/park stuff, GA is more than acceptable. There are VIP areas in both but neither offers better sight lines.
The night shows are a bit better with it, imo, but not impossible. You’ll get a shit ton of dirty looks from people who have been in line for 30 minutes as you whip right up to the front but fuck those pleebs.
I went GA last year and made it into everything I wanted to (minus the comedy which I understood there was a line for hours anyways). The only real issue I had was at the Wicked Witch and seeing my friends get in but somehow I was in line for 20 minutes 😂 I decided then and there I was doing VIP again.
BBNG is outside so you won’t have to worry about that if you settled on GA.
I need to do some more research on the club show artists. Great to know about vip for city plaza and Moore square. All three nights I enjoy the headliners and I can crash at mt buddies house for free 5/10 min Uber ride away.

They won’t drop the schedule till August but a quick glance at the line up, the gum-ups will be at Ty, Hovvdy, Boldy James and Ben Katzman’s Degreaser. WITCH and Scientist will be packed out but not as soon as it starts.
Honestly though, with a bit of planning when the schedule drops, you’ll be fine. The day parties are free for everyone with a wristband or not so remember to pack some patience with those.

I've done VIP each year. Worth it I guess would depend on how much you want to see the club shows.
VIP for the main shows is pretty much worthless outside the free drink tickets. Having two free drink tickets each night is nice and the parties have some free food and drinks but last year they were a hassle to try to get to. I think the Plaza had free food last year if you got there early enough. The VIP areas are small and generally off to the side though.
The priority access last year was definitely worth it (probably for the first time). At least on Friday night, the lines were pretty excessive and got into shows. Losing all the large venues I think makes VIP more worthwhile.
Just noticed The Pink Stones are on here. Hell yeah.
That’s one of the great things about these lineups is you inevitably see someone that you’ve skipped over half a dozen times or someone drops a song that catches you and when you check your dates, they’re playing Hopscotch.
I just realized Niecy Blues is playing this weekend after staring at this for weeks.

Oh, while I’m thinking about it. I saw Feeble Little Horse at P4k and loved it. shuck hated it. Skipped Amen Dunes because it was Beer:Thirty but plan on catching him at Hopscotch. shuck hated him, too.
