Where does one start with Taylor? I know the radio hits but that’s all I’ve ever heard. Not a country fan here so I doubt I’d dig the older stuff but what’s the best of the pop records? Anything that skews a little less teeny bopper?
Folklore and Evermore are I guess the most "mature" (personally I couldn't get into Evermore but love Folklore; about 50-75% of each were written by Aaron Dessner from The National).
That said personally I'd start with Red, which is IMO the best of her work, a great transition record from country into pop without being too much of either (the opening track straight up sounds like U2). Folklore and Evermore won't necessarily help you get into her other albums/tracks because they're more unique, whereas Red might.

That Taylor Swift mention was kinda random and is intriguing to me. I get the relevance to stadium touring vs. festival playing, but why bring her up? It didn't feel like a shutdown of the rumor, nor really an upshot either. Still makes me curious about that Yeazy comment about something "much bigger," but hey, maybe I'm delusional.
