if Green Day is paid the same and is a big font sub and there's no bottom of the poster vs them being bottom of the poster, would it really make a difference?
Blink-182, albeit being a last minute replacement, was billed as a Headliner. No Doubt, was billed at the bottom.
There is no world where Green Day is going to take something less.
I would not doubt that GV searched high and low for headline level acts that were willing to take the sub spot with more money attached.
As HDD pointed out, many agents out there squabbling over font size, maybe you just go get acts that don’t care and are confident in their status in the music industry.

I dont get why the “Taylor swift would attract a bad crowd” is even a thing. I genuinely think those crowds would be much better than Fred again, travis scott, or god forbid Morgan wallen

It’s overblown. I’m down for possibly other stages less crowded throughout the Taylor day. Maybe even festival less crowded on non Taylor days. All the while GV still making theirs to put this thing on year after year.

A bit nervous since we didn't share any of the top names with Ceremonia in 2024, though ROSALÍA crossed over in 2023. We usually get a couple from the undercard. Hopefully Charli, Massive Attack, FKA Twigs, Parcels, A.G. Cook, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Kelly Lee Owens, Horsegiirl are still in play
Coachella also shared two of Ceremonia's top-3 in the aborted 2020 lineup (Thom Yorke + fka twigs).
Also they usually only have 2 or 3 acts billed as headliners, this year they have eight, which I'd think makes it a bit more likely we get a couple crossing over. Really hope so because I really want Charli, Massive Attack, and twigs
My gf and I vowed to sell our tickets if Taylor swift headlines because they’ll be worth so much money and lodging will be tough. Swifties are annoying af.
Could probably use that money and go to primavera or something
