I bought my ticket for ‘22 on the way there for $100 from someone in Asheville who I assume needed a fix, but that was the lowest attended year and a niche market. You could keep a finger on the pulse with your local junkie though. Tell em to keep a eye out for a ticket in mid June.

The more I think about it, Cage > Peppers on What Saturday night might actually be a really good time to slam some pocket Fireball with my best buds and sing along to a bunch of songs I've heard eleven billion times. Throw in the insane dance party that will be Parcels late night in This and we've got a stew going baby
Sorry if this has already been discussed. But anyone notice there’s some repeats from 2019? I know it’s been five years and I don’t mind artists coming back but I kinda feel like that’s a lot from one single year.
Post Malone Faye Webster The Teskey Brothers Joe Russo’s Almost Dead
Last, its the only one I've skipped since I started going. Went to Panorama that year instead
oh interesting, wasn't sure if you skipped it cause you had to. I've been going since 2013 and my list is pretty similar, except 2017 would be near the top for me
Alright, I started doing some research on unfamiliar artists in an honest effort to embrace the lineup instead of being depressed about it.
After all the love here I finally checked out Goose. In my twisted but nonderogatory terms, they're like if Marcus Mumford played with Vulfpeck, after they all listened to Phish and MMJ together. Not in love with them yet, but I get it.
But what's the deal with the plural, Geese? the KEXP set I saw had me checking to make sure Adam Sandler wasn't singing half the time, and they just seemed noisy (not in ta good way). I really liked the few studio recordings I heard though. Could they be one of those bands that's way better in the studio, or am I misjudging them? Serious question.
Disco Lines: nope, not my thing, I'm not that guy, and that's okay.
BigXThaPlug: Doesn't seem especially innovative, but he's a pro. Might be worth a peek, barring any conflicts.
Maggie Rogers: In, 100%.
Seven Lions: You'd have to pay me. But Bet half my group will be at the show, and maybe drag the rest of us along, which is alright.
Eggy: Who the hell is this, who has been hiding them from me, and how long have I been in the dark? Now we're talkin'.
Everyone in goose is a multi instrumentalist, and so they play as Geese when they've done the ole switcheroo on who is singing, playing guitar, etc. and gives them the opportunity to explore different styles. It's why they sound so different.
Don't confuse that with Geese the Belgian German electronoc artist that is playing bonnaroo.

You had me scared for a second that the best Thursday act wasn't actually playing.
lmfao. I hightailed it back to camp in 2019. We were right by the water tower, so it was easy in and out. I ran back to Centeroo because there was no escaping Hobo from the camp.

I’m excited for both and I do think they’re both overhated here. I like this lineup more than a lot of y’all do though, especially after sitting on it and looking up what I didn’t know. I’d rank it in the upper half of my 8 Bonnaroo lineups personally.

the TPain tiny desk is amazing. None of the auto tune stuff. He's a great singer.
He is a great singer. Sadly he didn’t do anything like this at his 2018 set- but it was still very fun. It would be cool if he’d bust out a couple songs that really showcase his voice and/or with live instrumentation this time around though.
Last name on Thursday. The first song is my favorite moment from a Tiny Desk in a long time. I won't miss this. It's like a mix of Michael Jackson and Radiohead.

i honestly can't tell if this is denial, bargaining, or acceptance.

god damn you're tickling my peach right now
Coping and making lemonade out of lemons (or peach nectar). I don't hate Red Hots. But I'm not interested in seeing them since I don't like 95% of what they play live and have seen them enough. Bonnaroo has too considering it will be their 3rd headlining appearance in the last 11 Bonnaroos which would be alright if the shows were different like what you'd expect from Radiohead or Phish. For Cage, most everyone has seen them multiple times by now. I even like them. But having them as a #2 took up space that might have gone to a more exciting booking? I guess best case is they do a secret set again somewhere which would be kind of cool. Glad I don't like Fireball, but I hope you all have fun if the sets work out that way. Not sure how insane and Parcels go together, but maybe I'll find that out.
One of our Colorado buddies for no reason at all except for arguing is sure Skrillex will be there for the emo superjam which I won't be at. The only emo act I ever saw was the reunion of From First to Last. It was okay.
