This is Asbury Park, New Jersey- Bruce could be the only name on the lineup, and it would sell out in an instant. The rest is "good enough". They're offering single-day passes- I expect the younger crowd will snap up Saturday's with Noah Kahan headlining. We can't go this year, but pricing "tiers" after the first 10 seconds should be interesting...

I did a bit of research and flights to NYC are very cheap for this weekend from here, that National/War on Drugs tour is at Forrest Hills on Friday, and I have a friend to stay with NYC. Going up there for the weekend and going to the Sunday of this fest is kind of tempting, although I'm a bit worried about the fest itself being a bit of a shitshow of people
Yeah, I don't get the appeal of Noah Kahan at all, but am otherwise diggin' this lineup. if only it was an easier commute from NYC to this or if I could find a cheapish place within striking distance for Saturday night I'd be all over this. Still contemplating since it looks like I could leave early on Saturday, lol.

How bad of a commute are we talking?
Sunday is a very solid fest day imo
IIRC, NOT including the time to get from home to Penn Station, you're looking at about 2:20 of total time ea. way - about an hour and 50-55 mins on the train (have to change trains in Long Branch) and then about a 20-25 minute walk to the beach.

Am I reading it correctly that VIP doesn't include any free beer? You're paying 400+ for bathrooms and sight lines I guess. Oh and "access to VIP lounges"

Good to know, thanks.
I did a similar commute home from SoS last year and it was awful, but kinda worth it at the same time lol

I don't think ANY festival experience to my knowledge includes free alcohol at any tier.
