I really wanted to see them let him go from this distance. One of the great NFL stories ever. Dude was drafted in R1 of MLS, washed out and retired, and then his wife said "you could do that" while they were watching football. Now he's one of the longest legs in the history of the league.
McCarthy is a bitch for thinking that the Browns might return it if it was short. The 66 yarder made it through pretty well so the 71 mightve like hit the crossbar I think. Im sure if it was in Denver they wouldve tried. They had nothing to lose.
Surprised he already wasn't (forced to be) wearing one
Yeah. I was thinking about it, and he's as good of a case as the NFL could get to mandate someone to wear one. Hopefully, a high profile player wearing one could help make them more acceptable.

I mean its probably too late which is the sad part. This is one is all on him. He thought he was Derrik Henry and wanted to truck a defender. Hamlin says he was just standing there waiting to make a regular tackle. He had the first down. Slide or dive and nothing happens to him.
Yeah that sucks. The game tomorrow probably will for me too. We’re a 6.5 dog but I figure Dallas will cover. Saints are pretty good and have a lot of great defensive players at all 3 levels. But so do y’all. And you have overall better skill players on offense, but we are pretty good as well. Problem for us in this matchup is injuries. Fuaga, our first round rookie LT has back issues. If he doesn’t play idk who plays left tackle because Penning isn’t good there. Lattimore is a game time decision and if he can’t go Koolaid gets the start. Can he guard Lamb? Probably not yet. Our D line is fucked too as Khalen Saunders is out and Foskey and Bresee are questionable. Cowboys are too good to be injured this early. I think y’all win 30-20 or so.

Yeah I don't know much about the Saints other than some of their offensive personnel cuz I haven't been paying much attention to previews, but I think the Cowboys cover as well. Very good home field advantage in recent years.

Last week was a first time in a while I won all fantasy matchups, Virginia won, and the Hawks too. So far this week UVA lost, Hawks losing, and I'm losing each matchup lmao

To anyone who watched the game, are the Saints much better than we thought they'd be at every aspect of the game or are the Panthers dog shit dumpster babies? Or is it somewhere in the middle?
No. Saints are mid. Panthers might not win 2 games.
Derek Carr has scored now on 13 consecutive drives this season. 13 for 13 scoring drives on the season.
And takes it in and does the hee hee Michael Jackson move. No dis for the cowboys. They are elite NFC. But healthy maybe the saints get an honorable mention?

Cowboys are trash.
Next week is gonna be very interesting now. Dallas vs Baltimore and Philly against New Orleans. Lots of early gotta prove it games now.

Weeks 1-5 not all that relevant I don’t think. I don’t like the Cowboys even though I got 5 of them on my fantasy teams but they aren’t trash.
Trey Hendrickson and Alvin Kamara having impacts from that historic [tm] Saints’ 2017 draft class. Lattimore was held out. Ram is out for the season. Anzalone had 3/1 for the Lions. Marcus Williams had 3 tackles for the Ravens. Premier [tm] draft.

We've got a bizarro version of the AFC North so far. Steelers are 2-0, Browns improved to 1-1, and the Bengals and Ravens are both 0-2? We'd been led to believe the Ravens would win the division again, the Bengals and Burrow are back, the Browns will take a step back, and the Steelers need a rebuild.
The Browns are an enigma this year. The defense was incredible last year and they went to the playoffs. Their roster changed very little this year but a lot of people have picked them to finish 3rd or last and miss the playoffs. Watson was serviceable today, not great but much better than last week. Amari Cooper had a couple drops, which is unusual. The D was very stout. After two weeks, I have no idea how to predict their record or what will happen in the division.
