Yeah, there's issues but doing it after a 2-3 start where two of the losses are by a combined 7 points is super weird. If Hackett gets the interim job, they've really lost their minds.

Saleh is a great DC. Bad head coach. But this is an offensive issue. I don’t really see how hiring Saleh now makes sense. In any other circumstances, he wouldn’t have seen a 4th year as a head coach because his record is really bad.
Hackett should be nowhere near any nfl coaching job. As a Broncos fan, every clip I watch of the Jets is a direct flashback of our shit offense under Hackett: simple, sloppy, undisciplined, no accountability. It’s not going to help with Rodgers looking like an old man actively breaking down.
It's 90% giving into Rodgers because they clearly weren't on the same page but Salah had enough time to prove he was a good head coach and he consistently proved that he wasn't.

End of the day, Rodgers is old and taking a lot of hits. I imagine that factored into the decision a lot. If he retired with Saleh as HC, it would be seen as a massive waste.

The stupid ass math is against the birds once again with this one. And I am glad that Watson will be starting. Cause if they changed Qb's then for sure Cleveland is winning. At this point if this turns into a worse shit show than the end of last season its either Belichick or Ben Johnson. Lurie will have to make an exception on hiring a defensive minded coach in Belichick. But theres enough young OC's out there with good schemes that you get the likely other top candidate in the offseason thats not the goat coach.

Unmm the niners defense is shit right now. Demeco had them dialed in and then he left and theyve been cheeks. If Saleh went back it might actually work.
