Tua designated to come back from IR. Has to clear concussion protocol before he can play. He stated in a presser that he will not wear a guardian cap due to "personal choice". It honestly makes me hesitant to watch any Dolphins games bc it feels like it's only a matter of time with him.

IMO, if the NFL actually cared about concussions, they could easily make the following changes:
1. All concussion tests should happen in the locker room and not in the blue medical tent on the sideline. 2. All confirmed concussions require a player to sit out a minimum of one NFL week + pass concussion protocol. 3. Players coming off a concussion should be required to wear a guardian cap for 30 calendar days.
Ona side note, if I were a defensive lineman, I’d wear a guardian cap simply because I think it gives a slightly greater chance of catching stray throws and causes tipped passes.

Ultimately, I know it was going to be a low percentage drive, but this was such an egregiously missed call. Like Kirk said, there's one reason a guy's head spins like that. You can also see the defender react right after the play because he's knows exactly what he did. It's kind of insane that all scoring plays are reviewed, but you have to ignore a glaring penalty like that. I did love that Kirk was getting so fired up that Al had to recenter him. 😆

Yeah. He was absolutely right though. Why New York can't call them and say hey wait a minute, you f'd that up and need to throw the flag. No reason the referee can't say that the call came from NY if it was obviously missed. Same b.s. when the Rams got us on the no call pass interference in the NFC Championship game that led to them getting to the super bowl. Literally a game changing pass interference with another blind ass official not doing their job.

don't even need to make penalties reviewable - just assign a sky judge to watch for missed personal fouls. they radio down and get it right immediately.

Its stupid. The ironic thing is that the Rams have submitted proposals to allow for facemasks and roughing the passer to be added to replay assist. They got away with it last night but it shouldnt be the case. Thats twice now if you wanna count the PI against New Orleans.
