Might be an old announcement, but here in Seattle Andre 3000 is playing a show 10/9 after bopping around California. Painfully close but pretty damning that he's out.

It just announced this morning. And I think these dates killed that convo from the get go
OCTOBER 9, 2024 (WEDNESDAY) – SEATTLE, WA – PARAMOUNT THEATRE OCTOBER 11, 2024 (FRIDAY) – VANCOUVER, BC – QUEEN ELIZABETH THEATRE OCTOBER 14, 2024 (MONDAY) – PORTLAND, OR – ARLENE SCHNITZER CONCERT HALL
So another week or so at least til we get this eh? Fuuuuuuuuck
I hope that July 4th doesnt mess it up. If its a Monday drop then not too much trouble. The audience will be fine with a Friday onsale post holiday. And everyone would get paid next week anyway.
i know daze doesn't usually follow these kinds of rules, but if it's true that they booked someone huge, they might wait until week of july 8 for lineup + sale. july 5 is basically the middle of a 4 day weekend.
Is Neil Young really that huge for this fest? I think it would be awesome, but I don't see that being a big deal for a lot of people. Macca would be insane, but would he really zig zag back and forth from South America (plus he would be so insanely expensive).
If it is a big legacy act, in the end I think it'll end up being Roger Waters.

I think it would be big and Phil may be a huge fan so...

Most of my stoner/sludge metal buddies are diehard Neil Young fans. I love the guy and there is always a surprising overlap between him and the heavier/psych-ier fan bases.
