yes but to get there it's gotta survive 18 rounds of not being the least favorite. Think of it like a knockout race, it's not about being the fastest at any given point, just never being the slowest
I think, more than anything, we need to remind ourselves there is no Inforoo Consensus on anything.

legitimately never understood the mushrooms taste like shit thing. before i ever took mushrooms people were always like "oooohhh boy oh man you better make some tea out of that and drink it FAST boy because they taste SO BAD WOW". i was super scared the first time i ate some thinking i'd barf but then they just tasted like cardboardy mushrooms.
now i never ate mushrooms straight out of a cow pie, i know people used to do that back in the day. i could see that actually tasting like shit since it has shit on it. but regular dried mushrooms are fine.
i don't know maybe i just have an incredible palette and appreciate the finer things in life.

They aren’t vegetables so they would deserve it. But that’s weird. Mushrooms make any dish better. Lions mane, kings trumpet, portobello, tuft, velvet shank, enoki, shiitake, porcini, oyster - I don’t care. None of them tastes like any other one so it seems like an odd thing to overall hate on unless you are one of those people who claim texture issues.
i just grind em up and put em in pill capsules. then you can just swallow em and no taste at all. plus they just look like vitamins, if you're being all clandestine
shrooms taste kinda good to me but i like earthy foods
same. I like just taking lil nibbles as I go about an evening (like at a festival or specific kind of group event, not just on a Tuesday night at home lol—though no shame in that game either)
