What's the actual argument for keeping motorsports?
My guess is that some people enjoy motorsports more than some of the other sports listed, or the other possibility is that they dislike some of the other sports more than they dislike motorsports.
When I googled "football movies" Little Children was one of them. That's not one of the things I remember about that movie! So I did not include it.
The original Longest Yard should be in there somewhere.
Definitely some blind spots for me because sports movies are generally kinda not something I'm interested in. I think I saw the remake but don't remember it well enough to be sure or put it anywhere on there.

I haven’t watched The Program in 30 years but I’m gonna assume it holds up as S Tier. Varsity Blues A or B? Also haven’t seen that since it came out and not sure if it’s super rapey or homophobic in hindsight or something

When cars go fast it's cool. Climate change sucks, but it's just undeniable that cars going way faster than the one you have and making loud noises is cool. People are risking their lives and dying doing it. That is thrilling. It's so thrilling that we tolerate all of the death.

High speed kart racing is super fun. Low speed go kart also pretty fun. And if skateboarding is hanging on purely because everyone likes Tony Hawk Pro Skater then Mario Kart should get some love too.

I've had an itch to kart lately there are a couple near me. One is indoors so I assume it's electric which seems fun.

Cool story, bros: When my football career ended and I decided I was going to give rugby a shot, I knew next to nothing about it. The way I first learned the rules was by renting and playing Rugby World Cup 1995 for the SEGA Genesis. Good times.

I had it. But you should watch the original Brian’s Song if you’ve never seen it. It’s the story of Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers (James Kaan and Billy Dee Wms star) and their friendship as teammates on a mid 1960’s Chicago Bears team during racial turmoil of that era. It was a Movie of the Week (CBS or ABC) so not exactly super high budget. It draws you in as it goes.
