I went into that set only hearing Busy Earning a few times and it was magical for sure.
Saw them again at Emo's at an ACL after show and I think that might have been just before they completely blew up.

Watching The Aquabats on rewind and it's so alive and fun. I've always missed them for one reason or another every time they're in Portland. This reminds me of how much I loved them in college and have always wanted to see their show. First song didn't start off the strongest but they've gotten better and better through the whole set. Kinda hilarious that MC Bat Commander is so fat and old he can barely keep up with their faster songs. And yet he sounds 👌 and is entertaining af. Didn't know they had a new album on the way. Supa excited.
