Sunday is the day I feel infinitely less confident in my predictions. I tried scheduling based on the font sizes (and any slight variations I thought I saw) on the various stage posters but there’s so many on the same level on Sunday as well as fewer crane stage acts, that it makes it a lot harder. Like for example I included Ahadadream/Raf Saperra b2b since IIRC they did a Boiler Room together but having them all at noon seems weird. Similarly while I think Horsegiirl/Shygirl could make sense as a pairing, Ed Banger with them makes no sense to me but there’s just fewer hours for the Ship tent on Sunday. Lastly I have no idea how they’re going to schedule the Warehouse. Sammy Virji as second to last does not scan as right to me but also I think his name is slightly bigger on the stage poster? Idk.
Last year I thought stage placements were odd, but I understood them after thinking about it. Not so sure this year.
I like how you have placed Busy P before Justice. I think them as counter programming to Disclosure makes sense. They aren't the biggest name but a lot of Justice fans will be there, and they server well as a warmup for Justice.
I really don't understand Deltron playing late, I think placing them against headliners is a mistake and I hope the scheduler knows that and has them play earlier. I thought they would be in the Nelly slot on main.

We know Delton is playing the Crane Stage; I put them on at that time because if they play earlier in the day they’ll almost certainly conflict against JPEG. I guess they could play at 5 PM but that just doesn’t seem terribly likely to me.

Oh I get it, them being earlier in the day would be weird at Ship too. I just don't really like their position as they are in Ship.
Set times today, most likely? I assume the September lead up will include some posts talking about differences between this year and prior. Hope we get to hear what they changed to Crane. Kinda got the assumption that they shifted it so it looks out over the bay, and also has a tent now. Could be a really cool stage, if it is like a bayside Sahara.

Would love for it to be today but I’m guessing next week.

I mean this is super painful but not as bad as I was expecting it to be. A lot of split sets but I'll get to see at least 20-30 minutes of almost everybody I wanted to see. Disclosure vs Horsegiirl is my wife's apocalypse though.
While normally I try to avoid any Coachella rumors until lineup drop, what's the word on Soulwax, Disclosure, and/or Horsegiirl being in or out for this year?
Wow pretty happy with set times and less brutal than I thought.
Saturday: Nala or Luke Alessi -> Fcukers -> Interplanetary Criminal -> Mall Grab -> Joy Orbison -> Neil Frances -> Jamie XX -> Soulwax -> Rüfüs du Sol -> Gesa
Sunday: Pretty Girl -> DJ Heartstring -> Boys Noize VTSS -> Barry or Sammy depending on mood -> Chase & Status -> Shygirl -> Justice -> Fisher
Only bummed out about Astra Club vs Jamie…but I’ve seen Astra Club and Carlita already this year

There’s nothing definitive either way on those 3. Personally: many (including myself until recently) think Soulwax is likely because 2manydjs played recently, but the more festival sets Soulwax play without new music, the less likely I think they are since it’d be so similar to their 2018 set. I think Disclosure is pretty unlikely since they played in 2023 and haven’t had a new album since. I have no idea either way about Horsegiirl. (I’d say unlikely as of now since she does not seem very Framework friend and I can’t imagine her anywhere else but the Yuma.)

I was thinking Sonora in a Brutalismus type spot is perfect for Horsegiirl, actually...I think her in the Yuma would be weird as hell. I agree re: Disclosure - on the one hand they are a slam dunk festival booking for the GP and this is a real live show and not the DJ set from 2022, but on the other hand they eat up a ton of top billing space and they will have played a bunch of other fests by then.
But if nothing is definitive then that doesn't help us lmao so we'll just play it by ear.

Yeah in truth there’s less than a handful of acts we have any reasonable idea are likely and none of them are playing this festival lol.

HorsegiirL weirdly feels like a sonora act to me. and Disclosure i think is pretty likely next year, they actually played last in 2022 and that was a DJ set, they have their full live show back again and have released quite a few new singles since.
edit: actually they have had a new album release, Alchemy in 2023
Glad we’re knocking out Soulwax on Friday. Tentative schedule as or right now.
Fcukers < Frac Moody < 1/2 Mall Grab < Joy Orbison < Jessie Ware < Jamie XX < 1/2 Deltron < 1/2 Bicep < Four Tet
Pretty Girl < Jersey < 1/2 DJ Heartstring < Boys Noize B2B VTSS < Barry Can’t Swim < Horsegiirl < 1/2 Disclosure < 1/2 Honey Dijon < Justice < Sara Landry
LMAO our Sunday schedules are exactly the same down to the splits (it might end up being Horsegiirl 1/2 and all of Disclosure though) except I will prob end it at Fisher instead of Sara Landry knowing the vibe I'll be on at that point. That's never happened to me on here.
Whoever I’m feeling at the opening / Fcukers / Snow Strippers / Peaches, maybe splitting with Mall Grab /Jessie Ware / JPEGMAFIA / Nia Archives / Deltron 3030 / yeah I’m gonna see the beginning of Rufus instead of that Bicep set again / Four Tet
Sunday:
Whoever I’m feeling at the opening / DJ Seinfeld / Jersey / DJ Heartstring / Ed Banger / DJ Pee Wee / uhhh Sammy Virji? / Horsegiirl / my head says Shygirl but my heart says Disclosure, because my heart is fucking stupid / Justice / Sara Landry

Yeah I don’t think Soulwax plays without a new album/show, but I’m also surprised they haven’t released one yet, I could see that coming before/around April. Soulwax + Despacio would get me real amped for an LCD surprise add (if they’re not already on the lineup as a sub or something. Disclosure did put out a single this year, so who knows, maybe they’ll have a new one.

You are right, I assumed they played shortly before the release of Alchemy in 2023 but I was wrong. But...

...the other thing that gives me pause about this is that in spite of the new single and the new album, the bulk of their live setlists this year are still songs from Settle lol.
[Also I was wrong Soulwax has played a *lot* of new songs this year.]
damn, didn't know Mikey was even going to this. Fuck Soulwax, my only goal for the weekend now is meeting him.
As an SF resident in the electronic scene, I'd be a silly lil guy to not go! Would love to meet up, preferably on Saturday as it's a bit less stacked for me.
