Another aspect to note is that the NBA has the least amount of parity compared to the other major team sports (MLB, NFL, NHL.) Pretty predictable even in the post season. And the fact that they have teams 10 games BELOW .500 playing the play-in for a playoff spot is a joke.
Also, the refs have the biggest influence of all sports in basketball by far. So much home court advantage in calls.

NFL isn't exactly a parity league. pats dominated, chiefs now, we've had chiefs or 49ers in a lot of recent Superbowls.

Still think the NFL has good parity. The Chiefs also lost to the Bucs and Eagles in the SB. The Pats lost to the Giants twice.
NBA had some of the best parity it's had in years this season. Maybe ever. Well, the Western Conference did, anyway.
I don't think the consistently-best teams making the Super Bowl (the ones with the best QB or in the Niners' case line play) is really a knock. Parity to me is more about a game-to-game broad basis. The Super Bowl went to overtime this year. It wasn't a blowout.

what a joke. Look inward and cleanse yourself intellectually. Obviously, every nfl team has more of a chance at the beginning of a season than every nba team. Stop it

He was seemingly on your side but also wrong so I respect it heavily.

How so? Maybe in the regular season but the playoffs have had plenty of parity. There's been far more different champions in MLB than the other sports.

I think that the worse team wins a baseball series more often than an NBA series or NFL playoff game, and that represents something other than parity to me. It just has more random outcomes.
