It would be great if Godspeed did a makeup show here since their Knoxville show got canceled. Certainly not expecting it, but tour dates seem to work and I'd really like to seem them.
I am not ready to speak about this show being cancelled. Btw, it did confirm that this Alan Sparhawk solo show is not for me though.
Yeah... I'm not loving the pitch-shifting vocals (though I understand the backstory on why he has gone this route)... thankfully, at his GY!BE show in Minneapolis he did end with a couple of "traditional" vocal tracks.
Just to make sure... I'm the only one on the planet who has no idea who this newer-DARKSIDE* is, yeah? Any music recommendations?
* newer than the 1989 band Darkside
saw darkside at first ave for the first time at bonnaroo where they took kaskade soundbleed and incorporated that, primavera opening club 400 capacity club and part of primavera fest show. each show is completely unique
theyre just friking awesome talented people creating music within time and space. tons of stuff to listen to if you start googling
It's odd I've never heard of them... I'm familiar with Jaar and have seen Harrington perform a few times (the Dave Harrington Group performance of BE2017 was a highlight for me!)... Going to dig in this weekend!

I’m choosing to believe something happened and she fell through. It’s not that I don’t want to see her, it’s the opposite actually. I’m looking at the poster and already dreading who I’m willing to skip for who and she'd be at the top of my “Must See”.
With all this stuff added, I’m petrified to hear of the separately ticketed events.

I'm with you... I have 47 artists in my "Must See" list and have never made it to more than 25 performances. I have NO idea what I'm going to do when they finally announce that Squarepusher and Fripp & Eno are the two separately ticketed events!
