What is the consensus on Abbey Road, side 2? Is the Abbey Road Medley (“You Never Give Me You Money” to “The End”) a song? Is only “Golden Slumbers” to “The End” a song? Are they all separate songs?

Technically they are all separate songs, but if you wanted to cheat I'd say the medley starts at Mean Mister Mustard

Since we were both raised on Beatles, I asked my brother what his top 10 was. He said he needed time to research, but that his "obscure favorite" was "I've Just Seen a Face". I argued that is NOT an "obscure favorite" and that a lot of people know "HELP!" the album. He argues it's an overlooked song / album. What say you all?

I feel like there are so many amazing songs in the earlier pop albums that get overlooked. I often wonder if The Beatles would still be considered the GOAT if they didn't make that hard turn after they started doing acid, or if they'd just be relegated as popular hit makers.

I'd probably agree it's a fairly overlooked song compared to all their other stuff. Small sample size but I'm the only one who's mentioned it so far and it barely cracked my top 20.
I definitely think Help is one of their overlooked albums. It may actually be my personal favorite but it doesn't get anywhere near the acclaim as Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road, Revolver, White Album, ect. Help was kind of their transition point between the pop heavy style and what they evolved into later in their career with more experimental stuff. It has so many good songs tho.

This is entirely based on personal preference/emotional resonance with me, sometimes based on life experiences and such, so don't @ me if some of it seems basic or wack.
1. Hey Jude (seeing Sir Paul do this live is my top concert bucket list item and I'm really worried, given his age, that the window is shrinking rapidly) 2. Tomorrow Never Knows 3. Dig a Pony 4.
