I do think we're sitting at the lowest number of submissions we've had for an artist so far, but it's not that far off from GnR (plus there's two days left).
Let me know if you're planning on submitting and haven't yet! We'll start up with metal gods LCD Soundsystem on Sunday
1. Yellow Ledbetter 2. Black 3. Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town 4. Dissident 5. Alive 6. Porch 7. Jeremy 8. Daughter 9. Even Flow 10. Better Man
I'm enough of a fan to have a top 10 but not enough of a fan to have any of them from their junk albums after 1996.
A buddy of mine and I were talking the other day about the Mt Rushmore of 90s Grunge/Alt bands. Nirvana is the George Wash, and I guess Pearl Jam is probably the Lincoln/Jefferson (whichever president you think more highly of). Who would be 3rd and 4th? His (wrong) opinion is that PJ is better than Nirvana and I've fought this battle for 14 years.
Nirvana, PJ, AiC, Soundgarden seem like the obvious, but if we're talking more "founding fathers" Melvin's, mudhoney, green river should all be in discussion. Never had the same commercial success but they were early originators. Also don't discount bikini kill and other riot grrrrl stuf that was huge in the PNW.

Maybe it was Pearl Jam that killed Bonnaroo 2016 this whole time... I'll post my list tomorrow, wanted to give the first 5 LPs an honest re-listen this week.
It's almost 1 AM, I've spent the past hour thinking nonstop about my draft pick. so with all that in mind, here's my extraordinarily quick and dirty Pearl Jam list:

HM: movement, tribulations, yeah, yr citys a sucker.
sound of silver is a really good album. and while i always liked american dream i typically put it at the bottom of my ranking of their catalog, but i don't know maybe it's better than this is happening? it's just so in the pocket, nothing about it feels forced. like the band is totally in the zone and relaxed, which results in some good interesting songs with lots of cool choices that work.
i'm partial to s/t because i picked it up when it was released because i thought the cover and band name was cool. so they were like "my band" for a while with that record.
1. State of love and trust 2. Corduroy 3. Rearview mirror 4. Go 5. Animal 6. Hail, hail 7. Breakerfall 8. Present tense 9. Black 10. MFC
Sorry it's late Nathan Fieldcяab , been painting my house all weekend to get it ready to sell.
No worries! Updated the rankings; only changes to the top 10 were that Rearviewmirror jumped Jeremy and State of Love and Trust bumped Just Breathe out of the top 10
1 Us v Them 2 Tribulations 3 Get Innocuous! 4 Pow Pow 5 Yr City’s A Sucker 6 Daft Punk Is Playing at My House 7 On Repeat 8 How do you sleep ? 9 tonite 10 Never As Tired As When I’m Waking Up
I made a change lol

Surprised All My Friends isn't on everyone's list.
I came into LCD way later than most people did, and I don't have any friends IRL that are as into them as I am. It's not a shared experience for me like I've seen so many people on here suggest it is for them. And I don't find it nearly as danceable as my list.
