Didn't realize they’d released more than that single. I’ll be darned.

Man it's been a while since I've dived into some of these albums. I'm def all about Evil Friends so I will have plenty there. I'll try to have this done tonight.

I admittedly spent a lot of time with Evil Friends and not much at all with the other albums, so I will not be submitting a list for now, but one of you had better include "Creep in a T-Shirt".

Here's what ya boy's got
1. Modern Jesus 2. Purple Yellow Red and Blue 3. People Say 4. Creep in a T Shirt 5. Sleep Forever 6. So American 7. Live in the Moment 9. Do You 10. The home
Evil Friends title song would have been 11
EDIT- Also I was trying to find the list of who we've already done. I'll nominate some classic buttrock Greenday if they weren't already in this.

Green Day added to the list! For future reference the Spotify playlist will have acts we've previously done and scheduled ones will be in the OP. Also no rule against re-nominating an artist we've already done if it's been a while or they have new music out or something
Also appears #8 wasn't included on your list so slotted in Evil Friends as your 10th

PORTUGAL. THE MAN RANKINGS:
1. People Say - 28 2. Sleep Forever - 20 3. Bellies Are Full - 16 4. How the Leopard Got Its Spots - 12 T-5. The Home - 11 T-5. And I - 11 7. Modern Jesus - 10 T-8. Purple Yellow Red and Blue - 9 T-8. When the War Ends - 9 T-8. AKA M80 the Wolf - 9
1. Toxicity 2. B.Y.O.B. 3. Chop Suey! 4. Highway Song 5. Old School Hollywood 6. Radio/Video 7. Shimmy 8. Innervision 9. ATWA 10. This Cocaine Makes Me Feeling Like I'm On This Song
This was tough because I like a lot of their songs pretty equally.
Same. Honestly felt kinda stupid to rank them because they're all kind of interchangeably great and they're mostly pretty short and have simple structures on the first three albums which are the ones I strongly prefer.
I usually try to avoid just ranking *one album* in the lists, but Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is one of five or six albums I genuinely consider perfect. It's the zenith of that first Obama admin-era indie pop sound. And as much as I love parts of Bankrupt or Alpha Zulu or It's Never Been Like That, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is a top 5 all-timer for me.
I'm not sorry.

I rediscovered my love of Phoenix seeing them earlier this year after not seeing them in 10 years, reminding myself, "Oh right, these guys have tons of bangers".
